The Preaching of John the Baptist

The Preaching of John the Baptist

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 3, 1 – 14:

In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea and Herod was tetrarch of Galilee…during the priesthood of Annas, and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zechariah in the desert. He went throughout the whole region of the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah:

“A voice of one crying out in the desert: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make straight his paths. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The winding roads shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.'”

He said to the crowds who came out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce good fruits as evidence of your repentance; and do not begin to say to yourselves, “We have Abraham as our father, for I tell you, God can raise up children to Abraham from these stones. Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
And the crowds asked him, “What then should we do?” He said to them in reply, “Whoever has two cloaks should share with the person who has none. And whoever has food should do likewise.” Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they said to him, “Teacher, what should we do?” He answered them, “Stop collecting more than what is prescribed.” Soldiers also asked him, “And what is it that we should do?” He told them, “Do not practice extortion, do not falsely accuse anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.”

The year 2014 is coming to an end and I would like to remind you that many people put the names of their loved ones, living and dead, in the book of Remembrance at the beginning of the year. So if you wish to inscribe names in the book then sent their names to me and I will inscribe them and offer three Masses a week for a whole year for these people. It only costs $15.00 for one person for a full year for all these Masses. You know that there is no greater prayer than Holy Mass.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Come and listen to Saint John the Baptist My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who love Me. My Heavenly Father appointed Saint John the Baptist from the moment of his birth to be the one to prepare the Jewish people for My arrival among them. He call all the people to repent of their sins by being baptized in the Jordan River. In fact he baptized Me too. Many people came from all over Israel to be baptized by Saint John. He was not afraid to teach them what the Father asked them to do. He is known as the second prophet Isaiah. Isaiah in fact prophesied about Saint John the Baptist when he said, “A voice of one crying out in the desert: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.” John the Baptist came out of the desert to prepare the people for My arrival among them. When I was ready to begin My public life, I went to see John the Baptist at the Jordan River and I asked him to baptize Me. He was reluctant but at last he agreed. After My baptism, the Holy Spirit came upon Me and My Heavenly Father spoke saying, “You are My beloved Son, with you I am well pleased.”
It was St. John the Baptist who showed the people present at the Jordan River that I was the Messiah, the Lamb of God.
My friends I ask you all to study the story of St. John the Baptist, a holy man, who was filled with Holy Spirit and he introduced Me to the Jewish people. All who believe in Me should thank Saint John for what he has done. He is a martyr and he is in heaven in eternal bliss. I bless you all.”

The Return from Egypt

The Return from Egypt

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 2, 19 – 23:

When Herod had died, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought to child’s life are dead.” He rose, took the child and his mother, and went to the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go back there. And because he had been warned in a dream, he departed for the region of Galilee. He went and dwell in a town called Nazareth, so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, “He shall be called a Nazorean.”

The New Year 2015 is very near and it is during this year that the money for Our Blessed Mother should come. Money is needed to build the two monasteries and the Big Shrine in honor of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island, the Mother of Life. I ask you all to pray that the funds will come now so that we can start building in the Spring. I am praying too for all of you that the Lord will bless you during the New Year in a very special way and give you all the graces you need. May the Holy Spirit come upon you on the Feast and strengthen you to work for Jesus, Our Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Come and travel with us My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have read My story about My birth and how I had to go to Egypt with My parents because King Herod wanted to kill Me. We stayed in Egypt seven years and we had a quiet life. My foster father Joseph worked as a carpenter and so we could live without any trouble. However, when King Herod died, an angel of the Lord came to Joseph and told him to return to Israel with My Mother and I. So we traveled for some days all the way to Jerusalem and there we found out that Archelaus was the new king of Israel. He was the son of King Herod. He must have know what his father wanted to do to Me. He tried to kill Me but he did not succeed because we were already gone to Egypt, but if Archelaus gets to know that I am back he might try again to kill me, so Joseph decided to continue our journey and go to Nazareth which is a good few days north of Jerusalem. When we arrived in Nazareth we went back to the home Joseph and My Mother had there. They had to repair it after all these years and we lived there. Melvin, My brother, you spent a week in Nazareth and you saw the house where we lived. We used to go to the Synagogue every week and pray and it was always a joy for Me to join all the people in prayer.
My dear friends, I invite you to study My life and see how wonderful My young days were with My parents in Nazareth. Joseph worked as a carpenter and he taught Me to be a carpenter too. I thank the Lord for My stay in this lovely town and I came to know many of the youth there. My Mother was a great saint and She loved to teach Me about the Jewish religion and about Her love for My Heavenly Father. Come My dear friends and remain always close to us. I bless you all.”

The Boy Jesus in the Temple

December 29, 2014

The Boy Jesus in the Temple

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 2, 41 – 52:

Each year his parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of Pentecost, and when he was twelve years old, they went up according to festival custom. After they had completed its days, as they were returning, the boy Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, but his parents did not know it. Thinking that he was in the caravan, they journeyed for a day and looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances, but not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem to look for him. After three days the found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions, and all who heard him were astounded at his understanding and his answers. When the parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety.” And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house”? But they did not understand what he said to them. He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart. And Jesus advanced in wisdom and age and favor before God and man.

During these days many people have called me from different parts of the world asking me to pray for them as they were sick. I prayed with many people every day. They have many kinds of sickness: eye problems, stomach ache, lung problems and many others. I never refuse to pray with anybody and I pray with hope that the Lord will heal them. Some have called me afterwards to tell me that they were much better. Thank you Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Do you have a question My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who read this Bible passage about My being lost in the temple. My parents and I had gone to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost but when they left for home, I stay back in Jerusalem. Why did I do that? The reason is to teach My parents that I am the Son of God and I loved to stay in the Temple because this was the home of My Eternal Father. This is why I told My Mother when She asked Me why I had done this to Her that She should have known that I was in My Father’s house. You know that I love My Father and We are united together. This was My great joy to be in His house and feel His presence there and listen to His word. I would have preferred to stay there all My life but I was now a human being so I had to return to Nazareth with My human family. I love them and I was still only twelve years old.
I have a home in the world in many towns and villages. There are My churches where I live in the Tabernacle. My friends, you should be happy to come to My house and visit Me and to spend time talking to Me. It is a great place to go and pray. I listen to all you say and I will speak to your heart when you come to visit Me. Remember I love you and I want to give you all the graces and gifts you need. I bless you all.”
