The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 27, 33 – 50:

And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of the Skull), they gave Jesus wine to drink mixed with gall. But when he had tasted it, he refused to drink. After they had crucified him, they divided his garments by casting lots; then they sat down and kept watch over him there. And they placed over his head the written charge against him: ‘This is Jesus, the King of the Jew.’ Two revolutionaries were crucified with him, one on his right and the other on his left. Those passing by reviled him, shaking their heads and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself. If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross!” Likewise the chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him and said, “He saved others; he cannot save himself. So he is the king of Israel! Let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now if he wants him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ The revolutionaries who were crucified with him also kept abusing him in the same way.
From noon onward, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. And about three o’clock, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, tema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Some of the bystanders who heard it said, “This one is calling for Elijah.” Immediately one of them ran to get a sponge; he soaked it in wine, and putting it on a reed, gave it to him to drink. But the rest said, “Wait, let us see if Elijah comes to save him.” But Jesus cried out again in a loud voice, and gave up his spirit.

Jesus died on Good Friday, the greatest day of His life on earth. It is on that day that He atone for our sins and opened heaven for us. Our Heavenly Father accepted His great sacrifice for our salvation. If we are sorry for our sins, then through Jesus’ sacrifice, our sins are all forgiven and if we walk with Jesus every day, then when we die we will surely go to heaven with Him.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters throughout the world to believe that I have suffered much and died a horrible death on the cross to save you all. You can see how horrible sin is that it caused Me such suffering, that they nailed Me to the cross and caused Me so many wounds that My blood flowed from all My wounds from My head to My feet. Before My crucifixion, I was beaten severely all over My body and they also placed a crown of thorns on My head so My blood flowed from everywhere. I was three hours on the cross and great things happened while I was on the cross. I spoke to My Mother Mary and to the Apostle John. I told My Mother these words, “Behold, your son,” and to John I said, “Behold, your mother.” John represented every person who believes in Me and I gave them all My Mother to be their Mother. Also one of the thieves that was crucified with Me, turned to Me and asked Me this, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” I say to him, “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” This shows that even criminals can repent and they will be saved.
Come then My friends and spend an hour with Me during the day of My death. Come and contemplate My suffering and My death and know that I suffered all that and I died on the cross for you because I love you. I bless you all.”

The Conditions of Discipleship

The Conditions of Discipleship

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 16, 24 – 28:

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life? For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct. Amen, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

We had a lot of rain last night and again this forenoon. All the snow is gone even in the back of the house. There is only snow now in the woods. A lot of snow melted and there was plenty of water overflowing the ditches around here but around noon the sun came out and now there is only a little water flowing in the ditches. It was around 10 degrees Celsius this morning.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to take up your cross and follow Me. This is the way you can become My disciples. If you wish to save your life, you will surely lose it forever. Do not worry about losing your life and if you do lose it, you will find it in heaven. It will not help you if you gain a good part of the world and do not respect Me, you will surely lose your life forever. At the end of the world I will come with the angels to judge both the living and the dead. Those who followed Me in their life every day, will be judged to be saints and you will come to be with Me forever in heaven. Those who refused to follow Me but lived a life of sin, will be sent to hell where they will suffer in the fire for eternity. Come now My friends and make sure that you have changed your life and walk with Me every day from now on. I am there with My graces and My strength to help you attain your goal, eternal life in heaven forever. I love you all and I bless you.”

The First Prediction of the Passion

The First Prediction of the Passion

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 16, 21 – 23:

From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer greatly from the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised. Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, “God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you.” He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.”

Yesterday the 15th April, it was 17 degrees Celsius in the Tignish area where I live. It was 20 degrees at the town of Summerside which is one hour from where I live. A great part of the snow melted last night and during the day. The piles of snow I had behind my house are all gone and now I am looking forward to see the green grass. I thank the Lord for this fine day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I ask you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are very near to Me if you think like Saint Peter. When I told the Apostles about My suffering and that I would be killed but after three days I will come back to life. Saint Peter could not accept this and that is why he said, ‘God forbid, Lord! No such thing shall ever happen to you.” Of course Saint Peter accepted Me as the Savior and as the Son of God. He could never think that I would be killed by the Jews. Yet that is exactly what was to happen so I could atone for the sins of all the people of the world. Peter was thinking like a human being and not as God was thinking. Our Heavenly Father loved all the people because He had created them all but only the suffering and dying of His Son could pay the price for the sins committed by all the people of the world. Through My suffering and death, I opened heaven so that those who repented of their sins and were forgiven, would be able to enter heaven and live with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and all the angels and saints forever. This is the destination of each one of you. If you do not reach heaven, you can only blame yourselves because you have been given all that you need to get to heaven. Some however, are refusing to believe in Me as their Savior and they refuse to stop sinning. They do not pray and go to church. So they follow Satan and their is no salvation for those who follow the devil. If you are with the devil, it is time that you change your life and come and follow Me. I am the only one who can save you. I bless you all.”
