Jesus’ Departure; Coming of the Advocate (2)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 16, 16 – 24:

Jesus said, “A little while and you will no longer see me, and again a little while later and you will see me.” So some of his disciples said to one another, “What does this mean that he is saying to us, ‘A little while and you will not see me; and again a little while and you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father?” So they said, “What is this ‘little while’ of which he speaks? We do not know what he means.” Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, “Are you discussing with one another what I said, ‘A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me’? Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.”

I thank all those who have sent me money so I can buy the food I need.. May the Lord bless you all. It will be almost two weeks before I will get my cheque and I need to eat if I want to stay alive. If you can share again in the future I would be very happy indeed.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow My Son Jesus every day. As the reading shows, My Son is speaking to the Apostles at the Last Supper. He is telling them that He must go away but in a short time He will return to them again. This means that He will die the next day, Good Friday, and He will be in the tomb for three days. On the third day He will rise from the dead and appear to different people but He will come and visit the Apostles in Jerusalem. When He came they were afraid at the beginning because they thought He was a ghost but He ate food in front of them to show that He was not a ghost. Then their hearts were filled with joy to see Him alive again. It was difficult for the Apostles to understand all that My Son was telling them. He also told them to ask the Father in His name and they would receive what theyasked.
My dear sons and daughters, never doubt the great miracle of My Son’s Resurrection. After dying on the cross and I was there and I saw when He died, He was buried in a tomb but early on Sunday morning when the women went to the tomb, they found the tomb empty for He was risen from the dead, never to die again. Indeed believe that He is the Son of God with all power and He is the Savior of all the people of the world. Believe in Him and you will be saved. I bless you all.”
