Jesus’ Departure; Coming of the Advocate

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 16, 1 – 15:

Jesus said, “I have told you this that you may not fall away. They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God. They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me. I have told you this so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you.
I did not tell you this from the beginning, because I was with you. But now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts. But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.
I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”

We had a beautiful sunny day on Thursday but we are supposed to have rain tomorrow. It was announced that 95% of the farmers have finished planting their potatoes for this year. There is still 5% especially in this county, Prince, where they are not finished yet. I am praying that some of you can send me some help so I can buy some food. Thank you.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I had to leave the world so that the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, could come upon all those who believe in Me. After speaking to the Apostles at the Last Supper, we went to the Garden of Gethsemane and it was during the night there that they came headed by Judas Iscariot to arrest Me. Judas knew that I used to go to this Garden to sleep at night so he led the guards there. Judas came to Me and kissed Me on the cheek as a sign to the guards that I was He. As you know I was arrested, beaten, tried and finally condemned to death. Then they gave me a cross to carry outside the wall of the city and there they crucified Me and after three hours I died. I stayed in the tomb for three days and then on Sunday, which is now Easter Sunday, I came back to life. My resurrection was a great event and brought great faith to the Apostles and all those who saw Me. After forty days on earth, I ascended into heaven and I will return again at the end of the world. I had to go so that the Holy Spirit could come down and He did come down on the Apostles on Pentecost, the great day of the beginning of My Church. I bless you all.”
