The Man Born Blind (2)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 9, 13 – 23:

They brought the one who was once blind to the Pharisees. Now Jesus had made clay and opened his eyes on a Sabbath. So then the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see. He said them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and now I can see.” So some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How can a sinful man do such signs?” And there was a division among them. So they said to the blind man again, “What do you have to say about him, since he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” Now the Jews did not believe that he had been blind and gained his sight until they summoned the parents of the one who had gained his sight. They asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How does he now see? His parents answered and said, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. We do not know how he sees now, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him, he is of age; he can speak for himself.” His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone acknowledged him as the Messiah, he would be expelled from the synagogue. For this reason his ;parents said, “He is of age; question him.”

I was away the whole day yesterday. I went to New Brunswick. I left at 8:00 a.m. and I arrived back home at 4:30 p.m. It was a beautiful trip because it was sunny the whole day and it was the warmest day yet in 2015. Yesterday it was 28 degrees Celsius. It will be less warm in the next few days. In the evening I went to the prayer meeting at our church at 8:00 p.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, I wish to ask you a question: Can a sinner who does not believe in Me, your Savior, perform any miraculous healings? I tell you that one who does not have faith in Me and sins often and never repents cannot have the gift of healing as I have. I cured this blind man by rubbing his eyes with clay and then I sent him to wash and after he had washed his eyes he could see very well. The Pharisees, however, did not want to believe that this man was born blind so they had to call his parents who told them that indeed he was their son and that he was born blind. The parents were afraid of the Pharisees, so they did not want to explain how he was healed. Instead, they told the Jews to call their son as he was an adult and he could explain to them what happened. Because I healed this man on the Sabbath, the Pharisees said that I was not from God. However some objected to that because of this miraculous sign I had performed.
My dear friends, I must tell you that anyone who has the gift of healing and they do great physical healing means that they are My friends for My power goes through them to heal the sick. Go and visit these people who have this power and they will help you. I bless you all.”
