Trial before the Sanhedrin

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 5, 17 – 26:

Then the high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy, laid hands upon the Apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said, “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people everything about this life.” When they heard this, they went to the temple early in the morning and taught. When the high priest and his companions arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin, the full senate of the Israelites, and sent to the jail to have them brought in. But the court officers who went did not find them in the prison, so they came back and reported, “We found the jail securely locked and the guards stationed outside the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” When they heard this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests were at a loss about them, as to what this would come to. Then someone came in and reported to them, “The men whom you put in prison are in the temple area and are teaching the people.” Then the captain and the court officers went and brought them in, but without force, because they were afraid of being stoned by the people.

Here is another healing: a woman came to the healing Mass who had been in a car accident and broke her hip. When it was healed she found that she had one leg longer than the other. So it was a problem to walk. After the healing Mass I prayed over all the people present and I prayed over this woman. Early the next morning she phoned me to tell me that when she got up in the morning she found that both lets were the same length and she did not have any trouble walking. Praise the Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I have all power and what a human being cannot do, I as the Son of God can do. When the Apostles were thrown into prison, I sent an angel to bring them out from there. There were guards there but they heard nothing and saw nothing, but the Apostles walked out of the prison with all the doors opened. I was the one who sent the angel to do that and the angel told them to go back to the temple early in the morning to teach the people. That is what the Apostles did. When the leaders of the Sanhedrin went to the prison they found all the doors locked and the guards were on duty but when they opened the doors of the prison, there was nobody inside. Nobody could understand why this had happened. When the leaders were told that the Apostles were in the temple, they sent the leaders to bring them to the court. You see, My friends, that I can do many miraculous deeds and nobody can understand this. I am still working today and I am helping many people with great faith and I am healing them and helping them to avoid all kinds of danger. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. We had another hot day on Thursday. There was lighting on Wednesday night but we did not hear much thunder. May the Lord bless you all.
