Ananias and Sapphira

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 5, 1 – 11:

A man named Ananias, however, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property. He retained for himself, with his wife’s knowledge, some of the purchase price, took the remainder, and put it at the feet of the Apostles. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart so that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain yours? And when it was sold, was it not still under your control? Why did you contrive this deed? You have lied not to human beings, but to God.” When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last, and great fear came upon all who heard of it. The young men came and wrapped him up, then carried him out and buried him.
After and interval of about three hours, his wife came in, unaware of what had happened. Peter said to her, “Tell me, did you sell the land for this amount? She answered, “Yes, for that amount.” Then Peter said to her, “Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen, the footsteps of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” At once she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men entered they found her dead, so they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.

On Tuesday July 1st was Canada Day. It is a joy for all Canadians. There were celebrations in many cities and in others there were marches. I prayed for all Canadians because today many have rejected their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They do not go to church and they do not pray. Many Canadians are not following God but the devil. They have accepted abortions, which is the killing of the unborn children. Some Provinces have introduced euthanasia which is a horrible sin for the Lord gave us the commandment: Thou shall not kill. The Federal Government has passed a law to allow same-sex marriage and this too goes against the will of God. At least here in the Province of Prince Edward Island there are no abortions and so this province is blessed by the Lord but there are abortions in all the other provinces.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you all My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to follow the Commandments of God. No one can love God if he or she does not obey these ten commandments. In the scripture quotation today, there is a man and his wife who went against the commandments. What they did is they told lies. It is against the law of God to tell lies. They had sold a part of their property but they kept some of the money and brought the rest to the Apostles telling them that it was all the money they had received from selling the property. This was a pure lie and the Holy Spirit told Saint Peter about this lie. He told the man what he had done and he simply fell on the floor and died. Then his wife came and told the same lie and she too fell and died. This shows what happens when we commit grave sin. However, I am very merciful so if the sinner repents of his sins, then I will pardon him or her and they will be saved. So all of you, My friends, repent of all your sins and they will be taken away. If you do not repent, then you will not be saved. Many people today commit horrible sins and they do not repent of them. They live with Satan. I call you all to change your life around and I will bless you.”

P.S. We had a very hot day again on the 1st of July. It was around 32 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. It is a great time for the beach. I bless you all.
