The Commissioning of the Disciples

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 28, 16 – 20:

The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

Some time ago a couple came to see me with their little girl of about 6 years of age and she was very sick. I just received an e-mail from her mother who wrote that by the prayers and the grace of God, her daughter is healed and she is full of life. The mother is so happy and she wants to come to Prince Edward Island again this summer. Thank you Lord for all you do for so many people.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“It is a joy for Me that you are united to Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters and I want you all to remain united to Me all the days of your life. You are all called to share in the work I gave the Apostles. You must visit people and speak to them about your faith and call them to prayer, to go to church every week and to work for the end of the horrible sins of abortion, euthanasia and same-sex marriage. I want that all these sins may end as soon as possible because those who do these things are in grave danger of going to hell. I want all the people of the world to come and follow Me and to work with Me. Pray for them every day and work by visiting them and giving them pamphlets and prayers that they can read every day. I want a new awakening in every country of the world. I bless you all.”

P.S. What a beautiful day we had on Monday. It was cloudy in the morning but before noon all the clouds disappeared and the sun came out bright with plenty of heat. The temperature was great during the afternoon. I pray for you all.
