The Way of the Cross and the Crucifixion

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 27, 37 – 45:

As they were going out, they met a Cyrenian named Simon, this man they pressed into service to carry his cross.
And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of the Skull), they gave Jesus wine to drink mixed with gall. But when he had tasted it, he refused to drink. After they had crucified him, they divided his garments by casting lots; then they sat down and kept watch over him there. And they placed over his head the written charge against him: This is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Two revolutionaries were crucified with him, one on his right and the other on his left. Those passing by reviled him, shaking their heads and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself, if you are the Son of God, and come down from the cross!”
Likewise the chief priests with the scribes and elders mocked him and said, “He saved others; he cannot save himself. So he is the king of Israel! Let him come down from the cross now and we will believe in him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now if he wants him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God'” The revolutionaries who were crucified with him also kept abusing him in the same way.

Beside the priest in Paris who was healed, there is another priest in the Province of Quebec who is suffering from cancer. His name is Rene. Please pray for him that the Lord may heal him completely. I started praying for him today Wednesday.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bring you all especially My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who read this message to My cross as I hang upon it for your salvation. You know that I carried My cross to Calvary just outside of the city of Jerusalem, and there they nailed My feet and My hands to the cross. Then they raised the cross with Me hanging on it. Two others were crucified at the time, one on My right and the other on My left. The Jews made fun of Me and said all kinds of things against Me. They placed over My head these words, ‘This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.’ Even one who was crucified with Me also abused Me like the Jews. At the end most of the people present at My cross rejected Me and thought they had done a good thing by crucifying Me.
However, at the cross, My Mother was standing there and St. John, My beloved Apostle, was there too. They suffered much to see Me in such agony. Even one of those crucified with Me accept Me and called on Me to help him. I told him that he would be in paradise that day.
This hour of darkness that filled the earth at My death shows that a terrible thing had happened. The Father wanted to show all the people that they had killed His only Son. Yet I accepted all this suffering and death for you My brothers and sisters. I want to save each and every one of you. Come now and follow Me. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. What a beautiful day we had on Wednesday! It was sunny and warm the whole day. I thank the Lord for showing us such great love. He loves us all and He blesses us.
