Prayer for Sinners

A reading from the First Letter of Saint John 5, 13 – 21:

I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God. And we have this confidence in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours. If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not deadly.
We know that no one begotten by God sins, but the one begotten by God he protects, and the evil one cannot touch him. We know that we belong to God and the whole world is under the power of the evil one. We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us discernment to know the one who is true. And we are in the one who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Children, be on your guard against idols.

There is a big snowstorm coming our way once more. It started in the Gulf of Mexico and traveled all through the USA to reach Canada. I hope there will not be too much snow.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that every human person is a sinner. Without My help none of you could enter heaven. There are two kinds of sins: venial sins and mortal sins. A venial sin is not deadly and with prayers it can be taken away. An example of a venial sin is this: to react angrily at someone who tells lies about you. A mortal sin is a very serious sin and it is deadly. Such a sin could be adultery, stealing something important, drunkenness, to be high on drugs, etc. In order to have such a sin absolve you need to go to confession to a priest and regret what you have done. In this way I will take away your sin and you will be My friend once more.
If you remain close to Me and ask Me every day for the graces you need to avoid sin, I will help you and if you persist in your prayer, you will overcome all your sins. Come and follow all the commandments of the Father that He has given you and you will be saved. I love you and I am always there to help you.”
