The Canticle of Mary

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (1:46-55):

Mary said:
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness;
behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones
but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things;
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant,
remembering his mercy,
according to his promise to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

          Today is the Eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the great Feast of Our Blessed Mother. This feast teaches us that Our Blessed Mother was born without original sin. She was full of grace, as the angel announced at the Annunciation, and therefore She never was touched by the least sin, not even venial sin. Let us prepare a great feast for Our Lady and Our Mother.

          Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Rejoice My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and accept My Mother as your Mother. When My Mother was at the home of Her cousin Elizabeth and after the great event of her arrival, She sang a beautiful canticle to God the Father. She rejoiced at all that Her God and Savior did to Her. Because of the Father’s love for Her, all the people of the world will honor Her and call Her blessed. She has been chosen as My Mother, the Mother of the Son of God. She knows that the Father is full of mercy for those who follow Him. He is especially kind to the lowly but throws down the rulers and the proud. He fills the hungry with food but the rich go away empty. He loves Israel and He will continue to help Abraham’s descendants forever. What great love My Mother has for the Father! She is His servant and She obeyed Him every day. I ask you all to love the Father and to follow the Commandments He has given you. I bless you all.”
