The Lord’s Supper

Dear Friends,

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, from now on I shall not drink this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.” Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 26:26-30)

Well today I finished addressing the envelopes for the Newsletter. I have two bags full of letters, which I will bring to the post office tomorrow. I ask you all to pray a special prayer for my intention. Ask Jesus to give the gift I need today. This evening I will celebrate the Healing Mass at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island at 7:30 p.m. We will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I embrace you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. Indeed I love you all and My love for you will never diminish.

The day before I was crucified, I gathered with My Apostles in the upper room to celebrate the First Mass. I took bread, blessed it, and I gave a piece of it to each Apostle and I pronounced these words, ‘Take and eat; this is My body.’ Then I took a cup full of wine and after giving thanks I gave it to the Apostles saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you, for this is My blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.’

What I did on that Holy Thursday is to institute the Holy Eucharist by changing the bread and wine into My very body and blood. I was leaving the earth so I found a way to remain with you. Never forget that I am truly present in the host and in the chalice. I gave My Apostles and all those who are ordained priests the power to consecrate the Eucharist and to distribute the hosts to all My brothers and sisters. Come and receive Me often.”
