The Betrayer

Dear Friends,

Then one of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” They paid him thirty pieces of silver, and from that time on he looked for an opportunity to hand him over. […] When it was evening, he reclined at table with the Twelve. And while they were eating, he said, “Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” Deeply distressed at this, they began to say to him one after another, “Surely it is not I, Lord?” He said in reply, “He who has dipped his hand into the dish with me is the one who will betray me. The Son of Man indeed goes, as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had never been born.” Then Judas, his betrayer, said in reply, “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?” He answered, “You have said so.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 26:14-16,20-25)

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and people took part. I will have a Healing Mass tomorrow evening, September 2, at 7:30 p.m. with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome. On September 6, I will leave with a group of 51 people for Europe on pilgrimage. We will go to Prague, the Czech Republic, to Poland, Germany, France (to Nevers and to Lourdes) then to Spain and to Portugal (to the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima) and then we will come back to Spain to Madrid and Avila before leaving for home from Madrid Airport on September 19.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. Today I wish to talk to you about My betrayer, Judas Iscariot. He had been My Apostle for three years and he had seen all My miracles and listened to all My teachings. Yet he did not believe in Me. He had the audacity to sell the Son of God for thirty pieces of silver. Money has enticed many people up to today. Money can cause a follower of mine to deny their faith in Me, to tell lies about Me, and even to have Me killed. All those who deny Me are acting like Judas Iscariot. They are the worst sinners. I call you all to be faithful to Me.”
