All things to All

All things to All

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 9, 19 – 27:

Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win over the Jews; to those under the law I became like one under the law–though I myself am not under the law–to win over those under the law. To those outside the law I became like one outside the law–though I am not outside God’s law but within the law of Christ–to win over those outside the law. To the weak I became weak; to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it.
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.

I have another money problem. I borrowed $2,500 dollars from a person over a year ago so that he could help me to pay a debt. Now he is after me to pay him back that money. If there are some of you who could help me to pay that bill, I would be so happy. You can sent the money via Paypal in the account named: Our Lady of PEI Inc. The website has the same name. I need this money in ten days time. I will ask the Lord to bless any person who sends me an amount.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“It is important My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are committed to Me to adapt yourselves to all people so that you can win over as many as possible to come and follow Me. Saint Paul was an expert in doing this. To the Jews he was a Jew in order to win them over to Me. To those under the law, he became as one under the law, to win them over. To those outside the law, he became like those outside the law, to win them over. To the weak, he became weak so that they would follow him in order to win them over and come to follow Me. So Saint Paul became all things to all, so that he could save at least some.
So My dear friends, I call you to imitate Saint Paul. if somebody is an athlete, congratulate him and show him that you are in favor of what he is doing. After that you can introduce Me to that person and show him that he is in a race to win the greatest crown which is eternal life. Tell each of these people that I, the Son of God, came on earth as a human being, to teach them all and to give them the help and the strength to follow Me and to reach heaven, where they will live forever in eternal happiness. They need to work for this every day. If these people follow Me then you have won more people to be part of My Church and they will be good examples to many others. Come My dear friends and let us work together. You will receive all the graces you need to do this work. I bless you all.”

P.S. I thank the Lord for the nice day we had on Tuesday although it was cold. It was about minus 7 Celsius.

Reason for not Using His Rights

Reason for not Using His Rights

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 9, 12b – 18:

Yet we have not used this right. On the contrary, we endure everything so as not to place an obstacle to the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who perform the temple services eat what belongs to the temple, and those who minister at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the gospel should live by the gospel.
I have not used any of these rights, however, nor do I write this that it be done so in my case. I would rather die. Certainly no one is going to nullify my boast. If I preach the gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it! If I do so unwillingly, then I have been entrusted with a stewardship. What then is my recompense? That, when preach, I offer the gospel free of charge so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

I received a phone call from France today and the person told me about her cure. She had phoned me in the past to ask me to pray for her because her jaw bone was almost all gone. So I prayed for her that the Lord would heal her and that this bone would return and be strong. Today she went to see her doctor and after examining her, he found out that her jaw bone is completely normal and this indeed is a miracle. I thank the Lord for this great healing and this lady is thanking the Lord too. How wonderful Our Lord Jesus is. He loves us very much.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I have called, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, many to go out and preach the Gospel. From the time of the Apostles until today, many have answered this call and they have given their lives to work for the Gospel. I told them that those who work for the Gospel should live by the Gospel.
The great Saint Paul wrote in the First Letter to the Corinthians that he too had the right to live by the Gospel but he never used this right. Instead he worked making tents and he lived from the money he made selling these tents. However, he told the people that was his choice not to ask for any money to live, but the others who work for the Gospel have a right to live by the Gospel. That means the people whom they serve must look after the preachers so that they have enough to eat and to drink and have the clothing they need and a place to sleep at night.
There are many priests in the church working in every country of the world. Some are in charge of parishes, others teach in seminaries or colleges, while others are missionaries living in a foreign land. My Church makes sure that they have all that is necessary for them to live. Those who help the priests are in fact helping Me, their Lord and Savior. I bless you all and I want you all close to Me at all times. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a cloudy day but it was 8 degrees Celsius and most of the snow is gone.

Paul’s Rights as an Apostle

Paul’s Rights as an Apostle

A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians 9, 1 – 12:

Am I not free? Am I not an Apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? Although I may not be an Apostle for others, certainly I am for you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
My defense against those who would pass judgment on me is this. Do we not have the right to eat and drink? Do we not have the right to take along a Christian wife, as do the rest of the Apostles, and the brothers of the Lord and Kephas? Or is it only myself and Barnabas who do not have the right not to work? Who ever serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating its produce? Or who shepherds a flock without using some of the milk from the flock? Am I saying this on human authority, or does not the law also speak of these things? It is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is God concerned about oxen, or is he not really speaking for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope, and the thresher in hope of receiving a share. If we have sown spiritual seed for you, it is a great thing that we reap a material harvest from you? If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we still more?

Today Sunday we began the Season of Advent. It begins about four weeks before Christmas. It is a time to prepare ourselves for the coming of Our Savior into the world. In this Sunday readings we heard that Our Lord Jesus will return on earth at the end of the world. He will come to judge the living and the dead. He told us that when He was earth before His death and resurrection. This is His second coming on earth. So now let us go to His first coming and let us take these four weeks and prepare ourselves for the great event of the birth of the Son of God among us.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. He spoke to him these words,

“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me that when I was on earth I selected twelve Apostles and among them I selected Peter to be the one to lead them. The Apostles were sent into the world to preach the Good News to the people of the nations and to establish My Church. Of course they are human beings and they need to eat and drink and to sleep at night. As Saint Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians that the Apostles have the right to receive what is necessary so that they can continue their life in the world. Those whom he has converted by his preaching must take care of him by giving him food and drink and find him a place to sleep. This of course is a right for all those who work for My Church. It is sufficient to give them what is necessary to live so that they can continue to work for My Church. That is why in every parish they pass the basket at every Sunday Mass for this money goes for the upkeep of the Church and for the priests who work there. I call you all to be generous to help your pastors who gave their lives for you. I bless you all.”

P.S. It was mostly cloudy all day but we did not any snow or rain.
