All things to All

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 9, 19 – 27:

Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win over the Jews; to those under the law I became like one under the law–though I myself am not under the law–to win over those under the law. To those outside the law I became like one outside the law–though I am not outside God’s law but within the law of Christ–to win over those outside the law. To the weak I became weak; to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it.
Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. Thus I do not run aimlessly; I do not fight as if I were shadowboxing. No, I drive my body and train it for fear that, after having preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.

I have another money problem. I borrowed $2,500 dollars from a person over a year ago so that he could help me to pay a debt. Now he is after me to pay him back that money. If there are some of you who could help me to pay that bill, I would be so happy. You can sent the money via Paypal in the account named: Our Lady of PEI Inc. The website has the same name. I need this money in ten days time. I will ask the Lord to bless any person who sends me an amount.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“It is important My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are committed to Me to adapt yourselves to all people so that you can win over as many as possible to come and follow Me. Saint Paul was an expert in doing this. To the Jews he was a Jew in order to win them over to Me. To those under the law, he became as one under the law, to win them over. To those outside the law, he became like those outside the law, to win them over. To the weak, he became weak so that they would follow him in order to win them over and come to follow Me. So Saint Paul became all things to all, so that he could save at least some.
So My dear friends, I call you to imitate Saint Paul. if somebody is an athlete, congratulate him and show him that you are in favor of what he is doing. After that you can introduce Me to that person and show him that he is in a race to win the greatest crown which is eternal life. Tell each of these people that I, the Son of God, came on earth as a human being, to teach them all and to give them the help and the strength to follow Me and to reach heaven, where they will live forever in eternal happiness. They need to work for this every day. If these people follow Me then you have won more people to be part of My Church and they will be good examples to many others. Come My dear friends and let us work together. You will receive all the graces you need to do this work. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. I thank the Lord for the nice day we had on Tuesday although it was cold. It was about minus 7 Celsius.
