Dependence on God

Dependence on God

A reading from the Gospel of Luke 12, 22 – 34:

Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life and what you will eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food and the body more than clothing. Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds! Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your life span? If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest? Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore. All the nations of the world seek for these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these other things will be given you besides. Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your belongings and give alms. Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven that no thief can reach nor moth destroy. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”

My sister told me that my birthday is fast approaching. Yes indeed as my birthday is on March 2nd. I thank the Lord that he has let me see another birthday and that my health is good these days. I know that the Lord has given me a mission and he will keep me here until I finish that mission I received from Him. I thank the Lord for all the wonderful things that He has given Me especially good health and many friends.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You are My little flock My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have faith in Me and who love Our Heavenly Father. Remember that the Father is helping you at every minute. So you should not worry about where you will get food to eat or something to drink or find clothing to dress yourselves. See how the Father takes care of the birds of the air and gives them food to eat every day. See how beautiful are the flowers in the field who last a day or two and then are thrown in the fire. I tell you My friends that you are of greater value than birds or flowers.
What does the Father wants from you, My brothers and sisters? Be people of faith who wants to be members of the Kingdom of God. The Father is pleased to give you the Kingdom so come and enter this wonderful Kingdom. Do not worry about the things of the world but look forward to the wonders of the Kingdom of Heaven. Make sure that your treasures are in heaven where they cannot be destroyed. If your treasures are in Heaven then your heart is there too. I bless you all and I love you.”

Parable of the Rich Fool

Parable of the Rich Fool

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 12, 16 – 21:

Then Jesus told them a parable. “There was a rich man whose land produced a bountiful harvest. He asked himself, ‘What shall I do, for I do not have space to store my harvest?’
And he said, ‘This is what I shall do. I shall tear down my barns and build larger ones. There I shall store all my grain and other goods and I shall say to myself, ‘Now as for you, you have so many good things stored up for many years, rest, eat, drink, be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.”

We had another snowstorm last night and today it was windy and the snow blew all over the place. My driveway is again full of snow and I am still waiting for my friend to come and open it. We never had so much snow as this year. There is a snowstorm every few days. I hope it will now come to an end.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I love you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who follow My Son Jesus every day. Are you producing treasures these days and are these treasures in heaven? If you produce treasures and you put them in the bank or store it in your barns, they can be destroyed or stolen and then you do not have anything. But what you have to do is to store your treasures in heaven. How does one store his or her treasures in heaven? You do not run after money but you do what is pleasing to God. You pray every day and you repent of all your sins. You go to church regularly and receive the Holy Eucharist as often as you can. You help the poor and the sick. You go and visit them and spend time with them. In this way you show them that you love them as you love My Son Jesus. I also call you to pray for those in need especially those who do not have faith, those who do not go to church, those who are depressed and for all the sick. In this way you will be storing your treasure in heaven and when you come to heaven you will have all these treasures. You will be blessed by Our Heavenly Father, by My Son Jesus and I will bless you too. I love you all My dear children.”

Sayings about the Holy Spirit

Sayings about the Holy Spirit

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 12, 10 – 15:

Jesus said, “Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defense will be or about what you are to say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.”
Someone in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell my brother to share the inheritance with me.” Jesus replied to him, “Friend, who appointed me as your judge and arbitrator?” Then he said to the crowd, “Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one’s life does not consist of possessions.”

This afternoon I went to the funeral of a great friend of mine. He died of cancer and he was 74 years of age. He was a man with great faith. He never missed Mass on Sunday and went to Mass almost every day during the week. Everyday he would pray with his wife and children the rosary and other prayers too. He also worked very much for his parish. The parish priest who celebrated Holy Mass did say that he was a great example to all the Christians around. I pray that the Lord took him to heaven with Him.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I want you all to believe in the Holy Spirit My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me. You know that in the Holy Trinity there are three divine Persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We are all equal and we work together at all times. The Father is known as the Creator who created heaven and earth and everything in them. He is also the one who created every human being. He keeps you all in existence every moment of time. If He should forget you for a second you would not exist anymore. So have great faith in Your Heavenly Father. I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. I am the one who was sent by the Father to be born on earth and to teach the people especially in Israel the truth about God and the commandments of God and what you are to do. I founded My Church to spread my teachings all over the world and to work for your salvation. I came on earth to redeem you from all your sins and to open heaven for you. I have two natures: human and divine. You are called to follow Me and to believe in all that I have told you. The Third Person of the Holy Trinity is the Holy Spirit who is the personalized love of the Father and the Son. He is the sanctifier and the Father and I sent Him down to earth on Pentecost to fill the Apostles with His great power. All of you have received the Holy Spirit: first at Baptism and the fullness of the Holy Spirit when you received the Sacrament of Confirmation. So love the Holy Spirit and never blaspheme against Him. He is the one who will make you holy. I love you all and I bless you.”
