Visit to Nevers, France

Dear Friends,

I spent two weeks in Europe with 50 people on pilgrimage. I was their spiritual director. We began in Poland where we visited the Divine Mercy Shrine in Krokow and we prayed at the remains of St. Faustina in the convent there. The next day we visited the birthplace of Blessed John Paul II and the parish church where he was baptized, made his first Confession and Holy Communion and Confirmation and it was in this church that he was ordained a priest. On the last day we went to the great shrine of Our Blessed Mother under the name of Our Lady of Poland.

Next we visited the Cathedral of Prague in the Czeck Republic. This cathedral is famous for the beautiful statue of the Infant Jesus that is well known all over the world. The following day we were in Nevers, France, for a visit at the Convent of the sisters where St. Bernadette lived as a religious sister. Nevers is two and one-half hour south of Paris. When we arrived at the convent I went straight to the chapel of the convent to see the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette. I could not stay long in the chapel at this time because I had to prepare to celebrate Holy Mass at the grotto outside at 8:30 a.m. I then prepared for the Mass and we began on time. The Mass was celebrated in honor of St. Bernadette.

After Holy Mass, I went back to the chapel where the Body of St. Bernadette is exposed in a glass coffin. I sat in front of the body of this great saint and prayed. St. Bernadette spoke to me in French. Here are her words to me in English:

Father Doucette, Our Blessed Mother and I have been praying for you. As you know the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to me at Lourdes, and She has appeared to you too in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Continue to spread Her messages throughout the world. The Blessed Mother and I have interceded for you before Our Lord Jesus and He has granted you a great healing. Do not worry about the future. You will soon receive the money you need to build the two monasteries, one for the Contemplative Brothers of Jesus and the other for the Contemplative Sisters of Jesus. I bless you.

I thanked St. Bernadette for her message.

Peter’s Denial Foretold

Peter’s Denial Foretold

Dear Friends,

Then Jesus said to them, “This night all of you will have your faith in me shaken, for it is written: ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be dispersed'; but after I have been raised up, I shall go before you to Galilee.” Peter said to him in reply, “Though all may have their faith in you shaken, mine will never be.” Jesus said to him, “Amen, I say to you, this very night before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.” Peter said to him, “Even though I should have to die with you, I will not deny you.” And all the disciples spoke likewise. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 26:31-35)

This is the last message you will receive until I return from my trip to Europe. I will only come back on September 20 in the evening. Do not expect a message before September 22.

Many people who were at the Healing Mass and at the Mass on Saturday morning added many names in the Book of Remembrance. Some added all their brothers and sisters and others put in the names of their family members who are sick. It is wonderful that you offer the members of your family all these Masses, which are the greatest prayers in this world.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you and fill you with My graces, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. All you, who believe in Me and belong to My Church, are part of the Kingdom of God I established when I was on earth.

It was very difficult for the Apostles to remain strong in their faith when I was arrested and beaten. They had all said that they would follow Me even to death but soon after My arrest they fled and went to hide. There were only two Apostles who stayed with Me. One was St. Peter but at one time He denied Me three times as I had foretold. The other one who followed Me was St. John who accompanied My dear Mother to the cross. However, you know that St. Peter repented of what he did and I forgave him and after that he remained attached to Me for the rest of his life. All of you will have to go through trials, but remain closely united with Me and you will not sin. I love you all and I desire that you will all be with Me one day in heaven.”

The Blessed Virgin Mary is our Mother

The Blessed Virgin Mary is our Mother

Dear Friends,

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. (Passage from the Gospel of St. John 19:25-27)

I celebrated a Healing Mass last evening in the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and a good number of people were present. I prayed on every person present and many rested in the Holy Spirit. Today I will celebrate Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. My visitors will leave this afternoon to return to their town near Montreal. I will soon get ready to fly to Europe to be the spiritual director of the 50 that will come with us. We will return on September 19. Then on September 30, I will go to the Monastery in Rogersville to give a weekend retreat. And on October 10, I will leave for the Province of Quebec where I will visit Repentigny, Sorel-Tracy, Quebec City, and Saint Georges de Beauce. So as you see I will be busy for the next month. I will have a Healing Mass on the first Friday of October.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I love you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in all the countries of the world. I stood at the cross of My Son, Jesus, on that Friday He died for you. I suffered very much seeing My Son in such torture and bleeding all over His body. He suffered all that out of love for each one of you. I too suffered with Him for your salvation.

It was there at the cross that Jesus called Me to be Your Mother. John the Apostle stood for each one of you and the words spoken to John are also addressed to all of you who believe in My Son, Jesus, as Your Savior. After His death on the cross, I held the lifeless body of My Son in My arms. What pain filled His Mothers heart seeing My Son dead in My arms. Indeed I am your Mother and I come often to earth to call you all to follow My Son. Remember, He is your Lord and Savior. He alone can save you. I bless you.”
