The Lord’s Prayer

Dear Friends,

Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Father, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come.

Give us each day our daily bread

and forgive us our sins

for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us,

and do not subject us to the final test.”

(Passage from the Gospel of Luke 11:1-4)

I celebrated Holy Mass this morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. I especially offered this Holy Mass in honor of Our Blessed Mother as today is Her special day. I had the Book of Remembrance on the altar and the Mass was offered for all those written in the book. As you know I offer the Masses on Wednesdays and Saturdays for all those inscribed in the book and I do this for a whole year. It only costs $15.00 to inscribe a person in the book and 104 Masses are offered for each one of them. I also offer my rosary and other prayers every day for them all. If you wish to enter people in this book, please write their names on paper and mail me the names with the money.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. Our Lady spoke to him these words,

“I bless you, My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. I have appeared often in many countries of the world and My great desire is to bring you all, My children, to My Son Jesus. My Son has given you a beautiful prayer, the Our Father, and you should pray this prayer often during the day. It is a perfect prayer that gives honor to the Father with the desire that His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. You ask Him for the food you need and to forgive you for all your sins as you forgive those who sinned against you. You ask also for the grace you need to avoid sin. Pray this prayer with all your heart. I love you.”

The Return of the Twelve

The Return of the Twelve

Dear Friends,

The Return of the Twelve and the Feeding of the Five Thousand

When the apostles returned, they explained to him what they had done. He took them and withdrew in private to a town called Bethsaida. The crowds, meanwhile, learned of this and followed him. He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and he healed those who needed to be cured. As the day was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, “Dismiss the crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.” He said to them, “Give them some food yourselves.” They replied, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have, unless we ourselves go and buy food for all these people.” Now the men there numbered about five thousand. Then he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty.” They did so and made them all sit down. Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 9:10-17)

I am now rested after my trip to the USA. I will have a Healing Mass next week on the First Friday of November at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. I will begin at 7:30 p.m., with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome. On the First Saturday of the month I will celebrate Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. in honor of Our Blessed Mother and also in honor of St. Charles Borromeo.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I have great compassion on you, My brother Melvin, and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. You too, like the Apostles, I am sending out for a mission. You are called to give a good example to all the people you meet. Greet them in a loving way and bless them in My name. Do not gossip as many people do, but have great respect for all the people. I call you also to pray for all the people you meet especially those who are sick, elderly and poor. Pray too for the children you meet for they need many graces these days.

Remember that I love you and I am taking care of you every day. I have given you many gifts and I want you to make use of these gifts. You will also receive many graces from Me in order to follow the way I have pointed out to you. In the reading you have read you understood how I fed the huge crowd of people that followed Me to the desert. I had great compassion on them and I multiplied the bread and fish so that all could eat and be satisfied. I also healed those who were sick. I am still working today through My appointed healers to heal the people who are sick. The sick however must believe in Me and trust that I have this great power. I love you all.”

The Blood and Water

The Blood and Water

Dear Friends,

Now since it was preparation day, in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for the Sabbath day of that week was a solemn one, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken and they be taken down. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus. But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs, but one soldier thrust his lance into his side, and immediately blood and water flowed out. An eyewitness has testified, and his testimony is true; he knows that he is speaking the truth, so that you also may come to believe. For this happened so that the scripture passage might be fulfilled: “Not a bone of it will be broken.” And again another passage says: “They will look upon him whom they have pierced.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. John 19:31-37)

I am back from Minneapolis after giving a retreat and meeting many wonderful people. The weather was perfect with sunshine every day. There was a good group of people who attended. It started Friday evening and ended at noon on Sunday. The people were very pleased and they thanked me with great joy. I will stay at home now for over a month but on November 29 I will leave with a group for Israel to visit the Holy Land. I spent three months there in the past so it will be great to visit the Holy Places once again. We will leave for home on December 9.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living throughout the world. Be aware of My great mercy, which I show towards you all. After My death on the cross, a soldier came to the cross and pierced My side with his lance. The result was that blood and water flowed out. This is a sign of My mercy which flows from My heart to you all. You know that I am full of mercy for you all, My brothers and sisters. If you repent of all your sins, I will take them all away and fill you with My love and My peace. I want to save you all so come close to Me every day and receive all the graces I have for you. I gave My life on the cross for each one of you. I love you all.”
