The Massacre of the Infants

The Massacre of the Infants

Dear Friends,

When Herod realized that he had been deceived by the magi, he became furious. He ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had ascertained from the magi. Then was fulfilled what had been said through Jeremiah the prophet:

“A voice was heard in Ramah,
sobbing and loud lamentation;
Rachel weeping for her children,
and she would not be consoled,
since they were no more.”
(St. Matthew 2:16-18)

We had rain and wind yesterday and almost all the snow is gone. However, we are supposed to have snow tomorrow but only about one cm, which is about half an inch. It was 6 degrees Celsius yesterday. I went to the prayer meeting last evening at our parish church and a good number of people attended. One could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit during the time of prayer.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you, My brother Melvin, and all My brothers and sisters living in all the countries of the world. When King Herod heard that I was the King of the Jews, he wanted to kill Me. When the magi did not return to tell him where they found Me, he decided in anger to send his army to Bethlehem and its surroundings to kill all the boys two years old and under. He did not know of course that My Heavenly Father had told Joseph, My foster father, that he should flee from Bethlehem and go to Egypt. We were gone when the soldiers came and killed all these innocent children. King Herod acted in a devilish way by killing all these children.

Today the killing of the innocent children goes on at a more horrible pace than at My time. Millions of My dear ones are aborted every year. These people are as devilish as King Herod. They kill these small human beings who have received a soul from My Heavenly Father. They have a right to life. Pray that abortions may end as soon as possible. I love you all.”

The Visit of the Magi

The Visit of the Magi

Dear Friends,

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.” When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet: ‘And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; since from you shall come a ruler, who is to shepherd my people Israel.'” Then Herod called the magi secretly and ascertained from them the time of the star’s appearance. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage.” After their audience with the king they set out. And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 2:1-12)

For New Year’s Eve, I will have one hour of adoration in the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. We will start at 11:00 p.m. and end at 12:00 midnight, the beginning of the New Year. We will thank the Lord for the past year and we will pray for God’s blessing on all the people during the New Year that will begin.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you and fill you all with My graces, brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world today. Some days after My birth, I had the visit of the Magi, three wise men, who came from the East to pay homage to Me. They had seen My star and they decided to follow it. When they reached Jerusalem the star disappeared and so they asked the people there if they knew where the King of the Jews was born. The chief priests and the scribes knew that the Messiah was to be born in Bethlehem and so King Herod sent them there. After they left, the star appeared to them again and they followed it right to the house where I was and they paid Me homage and gave me great gifts. This is the way to honor the Messiah, the Savior of the world. The Magi taught you that I am the One expected for thousands of years and now I have arrived. You, My friends, know that I was born in Bethlehem and every year you celebrate the day of My birth. What is important at Christmas is that you concentrate on My birth. I am the Son of God who comes to live among you. The Magi’s actions show their great faith and love for Me. You too are to accept me as they did. I love you all.”

The Presentation in the Temple

The Presentation in the Temple

Dear Friends,

When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, they took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord,” and to offer the sacrifice of “a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons,” in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord. Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Messiah of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in sight of all the peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.” The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 2:22-35)

We had some snow for Christmas and many people were happy. However tomorrow we will have rain and the snow should be all gone once more. I will have a Healing Mass next week on January 6, the First Friday of January. We will start with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and the Holy Mass will begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Healing Service. All are welcome.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you, My brother Melvin, and all My brothers and sisters living all over the world. Soon after I was born in Bethlehem, My parents took me to Jerusalem to the temple to present Me to the Father. This was a custom of the Jews and it comes from the time of Moses. What was special during this ceremony, were the words of Simeon. He recognized Me as the Savior of the world as soon as he saw Me. It gave him much joy and his words reveal the prophecy he received. Then he turned to My Mother Mary and told Her that a sword would pierce Her heart. This was fulfilled in Her as She stood at the foot of My cross.

Indeed I have come into the world as Your Savior. That was the main reason why I was born like every one of you although I am the Son of God. I am still working today for your salvation. Follow Me and indeed you will be blessed in this life and later you will be with Me forever in heaven.”
