The Narrow Door; Salvation and Rejection

Jesus passed through towns and villages, teaching as he went and making his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough. After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ And you will say, ‘We ate and drank in your company and you taught in our streets.’ Then he will say to you, ‘I do not know where (you) are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!’ And there will be wailing and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves cast out. And people will come from the east and the west and from the north and the south and will recline at table in the kingdom of God. For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 13:22-30)

Dear Friends,

I concelebrated Holy Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, yesterday morning at 11:00 a.m. There was a little snow falling but the roads were mostly bare. It was cold yesterday and it is cold today. This afternoon I will go to the Manor in Alberton to celebrate Holy Mass with the people there. The new Manor is finished and all the elderly have moved there now. It is much more beautiful that the old one. The problem is they did not build a separate chapel but they use a part of the sitting room, which can be closed off and there we have the Holy Mass.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living throughout the world. My great desire for all of you is that you will be in heaven one day. I want you all to be saved and to live in glory forever in the Kingdom of God. In order to reach heaven you are to follow the narrow way. The narrow way is the way of humility. In this way you will see how weak you are and how important it is to repent of your sins regularly. Those who use the wide way are those who are full of pride and they think they can enter the Kingdom on their own power without My help. As you know, this is not possible because I am your only Savior. Come walk with Me and you will enter the Kingdom one day.

Come then and follow the narrow way by being obedient to Me, Your Redeemer. Obey the commandments and all that I have told you and I will come and bring you with Me to the glory of heaven. Every person who enters heaven proves to Me that I have been successful in saving My brothers and sisters living on earth. I want to save every one of you but I need your cooperation. Make your decision now to love Me and follow Me and never turn back. I love you all and I am there to help you.”

A Call to Repentance

A Call to Repentance

At that time some people who were present there told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices. He said to them in reply, “Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them — do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 13:1-5)

Dear Friends,

All the envelopes of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island’’s Newsletter are filled and ready to go. I already sent over half of them last week and these last I will mail today or early Monday morning. I noticed that many have not paid their subscription for Autumn 2011 to Summer 2012. If you wish to receive the Newsletter please send the money as soon as possible. It costs $12.00 for people living in Canada and $15.00 for those outside Canada. In the Newsletter there are three messages of Our Blessed Mother and a summary of my trip to the Holy Land.Today I will concelebrate Holy Mass at the parish of the Immaculate Conception, Palmer Road at 11:00 a.m.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I call you to accept, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the earth, the special graces I am giving you. This is the year you will never forget. Pray every day, especially pray your rosary and go to church regularly.

Every person needs to repent of his or her sins. Sin is what separates you from Me. I cannot live in a heart full of sin but I am calling you to repent of all your sins and to go to confession to have them absolved by a priest. If you do not repent, it means that you are living with the evil one and he will surely bring you trouble. How many people of all ages are committing suicide because they do not live with Me. Come home now, My friends.””

The Wedding at Cana

The Wedding at Cana

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you.” Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus told them, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it. And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.” Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him. (Passage from the Gospel of St. John 2:1-11)

Dear Friends,

I will celebrate Holy Mass this morning at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and it will be in honour of Our Blessed Mother as Saturday is Her day. Yesterday we had a rather spring-like day with the temperature about 5 degrees Celsius and we had some rain. We might have some snow later today. The plans have been changed for my traveling. I will only leave Tuesday morning instead of Monday morning and I will be gone for three or four days.

(Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. Our Lady spoke to him these words:)

I am always praying for you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in every part of the world. I pray to My Son, Jesus, for you and as you can see from the wedding at Cana, Jesus never says no to My requests. At that wedding, I just told Him that they had no wine and I told the servers to do whatever He asked them. Indeed He got them to fill the jars with water and with His Divine Power He changed the water into wine. The headwaiter said that it was the best wine at the wedding. My Son, Jesus, is always ready to help anyone in difficulty if he or she asks Him. You know that this miracle was the first one that Jesus performed at the beginning of His public life. My dear children, know that you have a very great friend in Jesus. He came into this world to save you and He is ready to do anything so that one day you will be in heaven. Ask Him for the graces you need to avoid sin and to do good. His powerful grace is now spreading around the world to revive all those who are asleep and living in darkness. Come to Me and ask Me to pray to Him for you and I will do it as I did for these people at the wedding in Cana. I am His Mother and He loves Me with all His heart. I want the salvation of all of you, My children, so come and do all that Jesus asks of you. I bless you all.””
