On the third day there was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you.” Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus told them, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it. And when the headwaiter tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing where it came from (although the servers who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves good wine first, and then when people have drunk freely, an inferior one; but you have kept the good wine until now.” Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him. I will celebrate Holy Mass this morning at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and it will be in honour of Our Blessed Mother as Saturday is Her day. Yesterday we had a rather spring-like day with the temperature about 5 degrees Celsius and we had some rain. We might have some snow later today. The plans have been changed for my traveling. I will only leave Tuesday morning instead of Monday morning and I will be gone for three or four days.
(Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. Our Lady spoke to him these words:)
“I am always praying for you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in every part of the world. I pray to My Son, Jesus, for you and as you can see from the wedding at Cana, Jesus never says no to My requests. At that wedding, I just told Him that they had no wine and I told the servers to do whatever He asked them. Indeed He got them to fill the jars with water and with His Divine Power He changed the water into wine. The headwaiter said that it was the best wine at the wedding. My Son, Jesus, is always ready to help anyone in difficulty if he or she asks Him. You know that this miracle was the first one that Jesus performed at the beginning of His public life. My dear children, know that you have a very great friend in Jesus. He came into this world to save you and He is ready to do anything so that one day you will be in heaven. Ask Him for the graces you need to avoid sin and to do good. His powerful grace is now spreading around the world to revive all those who are asleep and living in darkness. Come to Me and ask Me to pray to Him for you and I will do it as I did for these people at the wedding in Cana. I am His Mother and He loves Me with all His heart. I want the salvation of all of you, My children, so come and do all that Jesus asks of you. I bless you all.””
