Peter’s Speech in Cornelius’ House

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage from the Acts of the Apostles 10:34-49.
Then Peter proceeded to speak and said, “In truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him. You know the word that he sent to the Israelites as he proclaimed peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all, what has happened all over Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. We are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree. This man God raised on the third day and granted that he be visible, not to all the people, but to us, the witnesses chosen by God in advance, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. He commissioned us to preach to the people and testify that he is the one appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead. To him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.” While Peter was still speaking these things, the holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the word. The circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit should have been poured out on the Gentiles also, for they could hear them speaking in tongues and glorifying God. Then Peter responded, “Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit even as we have?” He ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they invited him to stay for a few days.

I was at the adoration at our church last evening and this evening I hope to be at the same church for the hour of prayer.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“May the Holy Spirit fill you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, who believe in Me. When St. Peter spoke to Cornelius and his household, the great happening that took place was that all those present were filled with the Holy Spirit. What a wonderful gift they received. It was just like Pentecost all over again. This showed all those present believed in Me so St. Peter asked that they all be baptized. My brother Melvin, this was like the feast of Pentecost two years ago when a good group of people met in the Little Shrine of Our Lady and after your talk you prayed with the people and almost every person was filled with the Holy Spirit and they all fell on the floor praying and speaking in tongues. This is what I want to see among My people. Pray, My friends, especially this year that the Holy Spirit may give the gift of faith to many, many people and that they give their lives to Me. I am calling for a new awakening in the world and it has already started. I bless you all.”

The Vision of Peter

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage from the Acts of the Apostles 10:9-16.
The next day, while they were on their way and nearing the city, Peter went up to the roof terrace to pray at about noontime. He was hungry and wished to eat, and while they were making preparations he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something resembling a large sheet coming down, lowered to the ground by its four corners. In it were all the earth’s four-legged animals and reptiles and the birds of the sky. A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.” But Peter said, “Certainly not, sir. For never have I eaten anything profane and unclean.” The voice spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.” This happened three times, and then the object was taken up into the sky.

Today is the day of adoration at our parish church. I will go to adoration this evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is very important that all believers spend at least one hour a week in adoration before the exposition of the Holy Eucharist. In this way the parish will be blessed and there will be vocations to the priesthood and the religious life.

I do not know yet if I will have the Healing Mass at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island this Friday. I could be called to Ontario at any time and I will have to go. I expect a phone call today or tomorrow.

(Below you will find the message that Jesus, Our Lord and Our Redeemer, gave to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

Come close to Me, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters spread out throughout the world. You are My very special family and I want you all with Me for I have something to tell you. You know that St. Peter was a Jew and following the laws of the Jews he would not eat what was considered unclean. For example the Jews do not eat pork. However, one day I gave him a vision where he saw all the different animals of the world and I told him to slaughter and eat. Of course he refused but then I instructed him that now all animals are clean and he can eat them all. This is why those who belong to My Church do not follow the Jewish custom but eat all kinds of meat even pork. Do not worry about any meat anymore. It is also a fact that the Jews would not enter a home of Gentiles and eat with them. Again through this vision, I instructed him that he should not have any doubt in going with these Gentiles for they are My people too. He was not to worry about what he would eat there because now everything is to be considered clean. What I want from you all is that you follow me and avoid sin. I want you to perform only good works and never anything evil. Do not look down on any people because of their color, their nationality or their language. They are all equal and should be accepted by all as equal. Love them all and be ready to help them when they are in need. I love you all.

The Vision of Cornelius

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles 10:1-8.
Now in Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of the Cohort called the Italica, devout and God-fearing along with his whole household, who used to give alms generously to the Jewish people and pray to God constantly. One afternoon about three o’clock, he saw plainly in a vision an angel of God come in to him and say to him, “Cornelius.” He looked intently at him and, seized with fear, said, “What is it, sir?” He said to him, “Your prayers and almsgiving have ascended as a memorial offering before God. Now send some men to Joppa and summon one Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with another Simon, a tanner, who has a house by the sea.” When the angel who spoke to him had left, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from his staff, explained everything to them, and sent them to Joppa.

I went to the Immaculate Conception Church yesterday morning for Holy Mass. A small number showed up because it had snowed overnight and many driveways were not opened. Today I will go to the Manor in Alberton to celebrate Holy Mass with the Catholics there. I will also visit those who are bedridden in their rooms to give them Holy Communion. Unfortunately they do not have a chapel at the new Manor and I do not like the place where Mass is celebrated. It does not look like a chapel.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke these words to him.)

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world. You know that God has created angels who live in heaven and minister to Him. They are the messengers of God whom He sends throughout the world to announce something important. The Archangel Gabriel was sent to My dear Mother to announce to Her that She would be My Mother and today She is called the Mother of God because She gave birth to Me, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. One day an angel was sent to this holy man called Cornelius to tell him that the Father had accepted his prayers and his almsgiving. The angel told him to send some men to Joppa to call St. Peter to come visit him. Be aware that each one of you has a Guardian Angel who is there to help you. Pray to him regularly. I bless you all.”
