The Questions about David’s Son

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 22, 41 – 46:

When the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus questioned them, saying, “What is your opinion about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” They replied, “David’s.” He said to them, “How then, does David, inspired by the Spirit, call him Lord, saying:
‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies under your feet.”‘
If David call him ‘lord,’ how can he be his son? No one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day on did any one dare to ask him any more questions.

I ask you all to pray for my sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer. She only found out two days ago after an examination at the hospital. I already prayed over her asking the Lord to heal her.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I know that you recognize Me as your Messiah and Lord, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know Me and love Me.
The Jewish leaders never wanted to accept Me as the Messiah. I asked them whose son the Messiah is said to be. The Jews answered that the Messiah would be the son of King David. I asked them another questions saying that if the Messiah is David’s son, then why did David call him lord? They could not answer My question. The reason why David called Me Lord is because I am truly the Lord and Savior of the world. I was sent by My heavenly Father to be born here on earth and to live as a human being although I lived in heaven as the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.
You who believe in Me do call Me Lord for this is what I am. I am also the Savior of King David and all the people of the earth. They will all be saved if they believe in Me and follow Me.
So My dear friends accept Me for what I am. By all the miracles I accomplished when I was on earth, I wanted to show you that I am God the Son and I have all power even to bring back the dead to life. If you follow Me then one day you will be with Me in heaven and you will enjoy life everlasting. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. What a beautiful day we had on Sunday! It was sunny all day and there was hardly any wind. The temperature reached beyond 20 degrees Celsius once again. It is so beautiful to have this wonderful weather and I thank the Lord for it.

The Greatest Commandment

The Greatest Commandment

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 22, 34 – 40:

When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gather together, and one of them, a scholar of the law, tested him by asking, “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

I thank the Lord for the evening we had on Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. There was a Holy Mass for Pro-life and all prayed for the end of abortion in the world. After Mass, we had a procession in the church and we prayed the rosary that all people come to understand that abortion is sinful and that all people respect the little children. After the rosary we gather in a room and we had a cup of coffee and some food. They had a beautiful statue of Our Blessed Mother and at the bottom of the statue, this is what was written: “The Mother of LIfe.” This is the name of Our Blessed Mother that She gave me. I was so pleased to see this title.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow the commandments of God. Indeed as My Son Jesus told the Pharisees, all human beings are called to love God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. The second commandment is: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. If every human being follow these words, they will pleased God the Father and they will be blessed by Him.
How can you love one another if you commit abortion and euthanasia? These actions are the killing of human beings and it does not matter if they are very young or old. No one has the permission to kill his or her neighbour. This is a grievous sin and those who commit such sins must repent with all his or her heart and never do such a horrible thing again. The killing of human beings and especially the young infants in the womb of their mother causes Me much pain. I am the Mother of all including the unborn and I want that every conceived child be born and that is what the Father wants too. Every unborn child has the right to life and beware if you should destroy the life of these dear little ones or of the elderly or people who are challenged or sick. I call upon you all to stop all these killings and to respect life from conception to natural death. In this way you will be walking with your Heavenly Father, with My Son Jesus and with Me. I am your Mother and I love you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. We had another very warm and sunny day on Friday. I thank the Lord for this great day. The farmers are in the fields getting them ready especially for potatoes. May the Lord bless you all.

The Question about the Resurrection

The Question about the Resurrection

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 22, 23 – 33:

On that day Sadducees approached Jesus, saying that there is no resurrection. They put this question to him, saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies without children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up descendants for his brother.’ Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died and, having no descendants, left his wife to his brother. The same happened with the second and the third, through all seven. Finally the woman died. Now at the resurrection, of the seven, whose wife will she be? For they all had been married to her.” Jesus said to them in reply, “You are misled because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven. And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at the teaching.

The summer weather has finally hit Prince Edward Island. It was 20 degrees Celsius on Thursday and people were walking outside just with sleeveless shirts. I went fishing trout this morning with my sister and we caught five. I had a great supper this evening. We should have a beautiful sunny and warm day tomorrow.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe in the resurrection with all your hearts. I am the first one to rise from the dead and to ascend to heaven. You too will rise on the last day if you follow Me while you are still on earth.
As you just read you know that the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection. They came to Me with a story hoping to confuse Me. This woman married seven brothers and they all died without children. So they asked Me if I could tell them whose wife she will be in heaven. Of course they were wrong as there is no marriage in heaven. All the saints are like the angels and everybody is a brother or a sister. So the Sadducees were all wrong with their ideas and they could not prove that there is no resurrection from the dead. The truth is that there is such a thing as the resurrection. It will come at the end of the world. Come and remain close to Me and you will be resurrected from the dead on that last day. I am your Savior and I want to save all of you. Come and cooperate with Me. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. Remember that Satan exists and watch out for him. He can come to tempt you at any time. What he wants is that you commit sin and offend God. In that case you will be on his side. Don’t forget that he is your enemy and you must say “no” to him at all times. Ask Jesus every day to protect you from the evil one and that you receive the graces you need to oppose him. I love you all.
