The Great Tribulation

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 24, 15 – 19:

Jesus said, “When we see the desolating abomination spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, let the reader understand, then those in Judea must flee to the mountains, a person on the housetop must not go down to get things out of his house, a person in the field must not return to get his cloak. Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days. Pray that your flight not be in winter or on the sabbath, for at that time there will be great tribulation, such as has been since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will be. And if those days had not been shortened, no one would be saved, but for the sake of the elect they will be shortened. If anyone says to you then, ‘look, here is the Messiah;’ or ‘There he is;’ do not believe it. False messiahs and false prophets will arise, and they will perform signs and wonders so great as to deceive, if that were possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told it to you beforehand. So if they say to you, ‘He is in the desert,’ do not go out there, if they say, ‘He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”

There are plenty young people today who are baptized but they do not pray and do not go to church. I had a young woman in her 20’s and she told me that she had never prayed the rosary, she does not pray at night and never goes to church. Yet she is very sick and needs a healing. What can one do with a young person in such a situation? I always get them to give themselves totally to the Lord and to do all that the Lord wants from them. I give them a rosary and I show them how to pray the rosary and I ask them to pray the rosary every day. I pray for them that they receive an increase of the gift of faith or if they lost their faith that the Lord gives them back the gift of faith.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus told him these words, “I call you all close to Me especially you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me. There is a great tribulation that is coming which will happen at the end of the world, but it will be shortened for the sake of the elect. For those who believe in Me should not be afraid of these tribulations but you need to remain close to Me and I will protect you. If somebody tells you that I am here or I am there, do not believe these people. When I arrive all will see Me and know that I have come for the end of the world which has arrived. So do not be afraid when you are with Me and open your heart to receive My gifts of peace, joy and love. Never forget that I love you with all My heart. I bless you all.”

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold

The Destruction of the Temple Foretold

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 24, 1 – 14:

Jesus left the temple area and was going away, when his disciples approached him to point out the temple buildings. He said to them in reply, “You see all these things, do you not? Amen, I say to you, there will not be left here a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will this happen, and what sign will there be of your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus said to them in reply, “See that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many. You will hear of wars and reports of war; see that you are not alarmed, for these things must happen, but it will not yet be the end. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be famines and earthquakes from place to place. All these are the beginning of the labor pains. Then they will hand you over to persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name. And then many will be led into sin; they will betray and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and deceive many; and because of the increase of evildoing, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a witness to all nations and then the end will come.”

Do not fear the future but remain close to Jesus. It is those who do not have faith and follow a path of sin who should have fear because the end will come quickly without them perceiving it and they will suffer. If you follow Jesus, He will be at your side to help you and He will protect you. Some will die as martyrs but others will have peace and be able to go and preach the Good News. Look what happened during the Roman persecution in the early days. Yes many died as martyrs but others continued to live as Christians and were protected. Jesus loves us.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who love Me and are a light to the people of the world. I call you all to spread the Good News to all the people you meet. Yes, the end of the world will come one day but do not be overcome by what is coming. Have faith in Me and follow the commandments and you will be full of joy when the end of the world will come because you know you will be with Me forever. Repent of your sins and ask for the graces you need every day to avoid sin in the future. Be on guard against Satan and the evil spirits and be friends of Mine who pray every day. If you pray, I will protect you and lead you along the true path and I will go before you. Love all your brothers and sisters and be ready to help those in need. Never forget that I love you and I will never turn away from you. I am your friend forever.”

P.S. It is true we are going towards the end of the world, but see what is going on in the world. What about all those people who abort babies. This is the killing of these beautiful children. What about euthanasia, which is the killing of the terminally ill or the elderly. This too is very sinful. Today what is horrible is same-sex marriage. God created marriage for a man and a woman, but now many countries have changed the law of God and this is horrible and sinful. Let us pray for all these people that they return to God and follow Him. I bless you all.

The Lament over Jerusalem

May 20, 2014

The Lament over Jerusalem

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 23, 37 – 39:

Jesus said, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how many times I yearned to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you were unwilling! Behold, your house will be abandoned, desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”

We are approaching the Feast of the Ascension, when Jesus ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Ten days after the Ascension we will celebrate the great Feast of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in Jerusalem and filled them with His great power. Let us pray this year that He comes on us again so that we be filled with His strength to stand up for our faith and not to be afraid to preach the Good News.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “For God the Father and for Me too, Jerusalem is very important as the Holy City. It was there that the Temple of God was built and were the Jewish sacrifices were offered to the Father by all the people. All Jews had to go to Jerusalem every year to offer sacrifices for themselves and their loved ones. You would think that the Jews living in this holy city would be always very open to accept anyone sent by the Father with a message. However, what happened in this city is terrible. Many prophets sent by God came to Jerusalem but the leaders refused to accept them and instead they beat them and killed many of them.
I was sent by God the Father to the Jewish people to be their Savior. There are many passages in the Jewish Bible about Me but most of the Jewish leaders refused to accept Me and at the end they arrested Me, beat Me terribly and nailed Me to the cross to die. They never thought that My death on the cross was My sacrifice offered to the Father for the atonement of all the sins of the people of the world. Even My resurrection from the death was not accepted by most of the Jewish people especially their religious leaders.
Although I was born in Israel in Judea, I was sent as the Savior of all the people of the world. I am the Divine Son of God the Father and all who believe in Me and follow Me, will be saved. However, up till today most of the Jewish people have not accepted Me but many non-Jews have accepted Me and follow Me. There are still many people in the world who have no faith in Me. I call you, My brothers and sisters, to be My witnesses wherever you are and wherever you go. Do not be afraid to talk about Me to those who are ready to listen. I will give them the graces they need to believe in Me. I am calling every person in the world to believe in Me, your only Savior, who died to save you. Come and follow Me. I love you all.”

P.S. The weather channel have been announcing for many days that the rain would begin on Monday this week and it would rain for the whole week. Today so far we did not have any rain and the sun came out for a while in the afternoon. The farmers are hard at work and already they have planted many fields of potatoes. May the Lord bless you all.
