Peter’s Speech

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 10, 34 – 43:

Then Peter proceeded to speak and said, “In truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him. You know the word that he sent to the Israelites as he proclaimed peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all, what has happened all over Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. We are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree. This man God raised on the third day and granted that he be visible, not to all the people, but to us, the witnesses chosen by God in advance, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. He commissioned us to preach to the people and testify that he is the one appointed by God as judge of the living and dead. To him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.”

A few years ago I celebrated a healing Mass in the Province of Quebec and a woman who was very depressed was present. She could no longer sleep at night and to make it worst her boss told her that she would loose her job. She was spending a lot of hours crying. I prayed with her and asked the Lord to take this depression away. The next day she came to see me dancing. She told me that this morning when she woke up, everything had changed for her. She was full of joy and all that depression was gone. A few weeks later she wrote to me telling me that her boss had given her a promotion and she was so happy. Thank you Lord for all the wonderful things you are doing.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in union with Me every day. One who had great love for Me was Saint Peter who was with Me for three years and I appointed him to lead My Church. He gave a talk at Cornelius’ house and spoke about Me. He spoke of the many things I did in Galilee and in Judea after My baptism by Saint John the Baptist. I went around to all the towns and villages and preached to the people, healing the sick and driving away evil spirits. When I came to Jerusalem they arrested Me and hanged Me on the cross where I died for the salvation of all the people of the world. Three days after My death, I came back to life and walked with My Apostles for forty days and then I ascended into heaven. The Apostles were commissioned by Me to preach the Good News and to be My witnesses to all the people they would meet. So every person who believe in Me receives forgiveness of sins from Me.
Come then My friends and follow Me. I am your Savior who gave up His life to save you. I want you all with Me while you are on earth and after your death you will be with Me forever in heaven. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a beautiful day today with sunshine and it was not very hot. There was a nice little wind that kept everything a bit cool. May the Lord bless you all.

Peter goes to Caesarea

Peter goes to Caesarea

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 10, 24 – 33:

The next day Peter got up and went with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa went with him. On the following day he entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and, falling at his feet, paid him homage. Peter, however, raised him up, saying, “Get up. I myself am also a human being.” While he conversed with him, he went in and found many people gathered together and said to them, “You know that it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with, or visit, a Gentile, but God has shown me that I should not call any person profane or unclean. And that is why I came without objection when sent for. May I ask, then, why you summoned me?” Cornelius replied, “Four days ago at this hour, three o’clock in the afternoon, I was at prayer in my house when suddenly a man in dazzling robes stood before me and said, “Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your almsgiving remembered before God. Send therefore to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. He is a guest in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea. So I sent for you immediately and you were kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to listen to all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”

One day about a year ago, a young man about 30 years of age came to visit me. He told me that he had trouble with his stomach and he had gone to see a doctor. After examinations, the doctor found that he had cancer of the stomach. So he would have to be operated to remove this. When he heard this he decided to come and see me and ask me to pray with him. So I prayed and asked the Lord to heal him of this cancer. In about ten days he came back to visit me and he told me that he had gone to his doctor and he sent him to the hospital again for more tests. The results came and the doctor could not believe it. It said that there was no trace of cancer anymore. Thank you Lord for this great healing.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who walk with My Son Jesus every day. Your relationship with Him is growing every day. Saint Peter was a great friend of My Son too. He was always ready to do whatever he was told. One day some men came from Caesarea to invite Saint Peter to come with them to visit a man called Cornelius. Peter agreed and the next day he left with them. It took almost two days to walk to Caesarea and they arrived at Cornelius house around three in the afternoon. There was a big crowd gathered there and Cornelius explained to St. Peter the vision he had of an angel. The angel had asked him to send men to Joppa to call Saint Peter. So now Peter was there with them. Tomorrow My Son will explain what happened after Cornelius had spoken.
Remember that there are heavenly beings that come to earth often. I have come to earth often and My Son has appeared there too. Angels have appeared to people to tell them what God wants the people to know and even saints have appeared on earth and brought a message to the people. Know that there is much communication between heaven and earth. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a beautiful sunny day this Friday and we should have the same weather tomorrow for the Feast of Saint Anne and Saint Joachim. May the Lord bless you all.

The Vision of Peter

July 25, 2014

The Vision of Peter

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 10, 9 – 23:

The next day, while they were on their way and nearing the city, Peter went up to the roof terrace to pray at about noontime. He was hungry and wished to eat, and while they were making preparations he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something resembling a large sheet coming down, lowered to the ground by its four corners. In it were all the earth’s four-legged animals and reptiles and the birds of the sky. A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.” But Peter said, “Certainly not, sir. For never have I eaten anything profane an unclean.” The voice spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.” This happened three times, and then the object was taken up into the sky.
While Peter was in doubt about the meaning of the vision he had seen, the men sent by Cornelius asked for Simon’s home and arrived at the entrance. They called out inquiring whether Simon, who is called Peter, was staying there. As Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “There are three men here looking for you. So get up, go downstairs, and accompany them without hesitation, because I have sent them.” Then Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your being here?” They answered, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, respected by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear what you have to say.” So he invited them in and showed them hospitality.

One day a few years ago, I got this inspiration to pray for a person who was in a car accident. I immediately began to pray that this person be protected and not hurt at all. The next day I got a phone call from my brother and he told me that he had been in a car accident the day before. The car left the road and it overturned a few times. He told me that it was miraculous that he did not get hurt. He came out of that accident without a scratch. I asked him the time of the accident and I found out that it was at the very moment that I was asked to pray for him. Through my prayers, he avoided all injury although his car was a complete wreck. Praise the Lord.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters come and listen attentively to the vision that Saint Peter had. I am the one who gave him that vision. He saw a huge sheet come down from heaven and in it he saw all kinds of animals even those that Jews would never eat as they are profane and unclean. Yet he heard my voice say to him that he should kill and eat. He refused but I told him that what God has made clean, he is not to call profane. He saw this vision three times. What does this vision mean? I was telling Saint Peter that what God created is good and must not be rejected. As a Jew, Peter did not like to eat with non-Jews because they could eat something that is forbidden to the Jews. I was telling him that he can eat any food that the people put before him. So all the Christians are free from the rules of the Jews and they should not have any fear to eat even the meat that is forbidden by the Jews. So today the Christians follow what I have told them. I have freed you from all this strange laws made by human beings. I bless you all.”

P.S. We had plenty of rain during the forenoon but it stopped in the afternoon although we did not see much of the sun. It should be sunny tomorrow Friday.
