John the Baptist’s Testimony to Jesus

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 1, 29 – 34:

The next day John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one of whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’ I did not know him, but the reason why I came baptizing with water was that he might be made know to Israel.” John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him. I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.”

We had another beautiful sunny day on Sunday and more snow disappeared. There is hardly any snow left in front of my house and it is almost all gone in the back. We did not have much rain to melt the snow but the heat of the sun did it. So we did not have any problem with flooding but the water flowed in the drains and disappeared. Thank the Lord.

Below you will see the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. He spoke to him in these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who accept Me as the Messiah sent by the Father to redeem the people of the world. The first person to testify on My behalf was St. John the Baptist. When he saw Me coming toward him, he saw the Holy Spirit come down upon Me and that was the proof that I was the Savior of the world. St. John the Baptist had heard of Me although he had not seen Me. However, he knew that he had to make Me know to the people of Israel. So when he saw Me he announced My arrival in this way, ‘Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.’ These words refer to the Pascal Lamb of the Jews whom they ate the day before leaving Egypt and the blood of the lamb on the doorpost saved the Jewish people but the first born of each Egyptian family died that night. St. John the Baptist also said that I will baptize with the Holy Spirit. He spoke about Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles ten days after I ascended into heaven. St. John the Baptist also referred to Me as the Son of God. You know that I was baptized in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist and I was the one who asked him to baptize Me.
My dear friends, I call you all to take the words of St. John the Baptist to heart and know that what he said is the complete truth. I am your Lord who came into the world to offer Myself in perfect sacrifice for the salvation of the people of the world. Come and believe in Me and you will be saved. I bless you all.”
