The Destruction of the Temple Foretold
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 21, 5 – 11:
While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here–the days will come when there will not be a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”
Then they asked Jesus, “Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen?” He answered, “See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them! When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified, for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end.” Then he said to them, “Nations will rise against nations; and kingdom against kingdom. There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place, and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.”
It is wonderful to see the snow melting these days. The piles of snow we have everywhere are getting smaller every day. I hope in another week most of the snow will be gone. I always need some money to buy something. At this time I need to get heating oil and it costs 450.00 and I do not have that money. I pray that somebody can help me. May the Lord bless all those who will give a donation.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to me these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great faith in Me. As you see from the reading above, I told the Jewish people that the great Temple in Jerusalem will be destroyed in the future. Not a stone will be left upon a stone. In fact this happened in the year 70, when the Romans came and destroyed the temple completely. Today there is only the temple mount but there are no buildings on that spot except for the Moslem Mosque. The Jews were never able to build the temple and I tell you they will never build it. This shows that with My coming to earth, I came to get rid of the Old Covenant and now you live in the New Covenant which I established in My blood. The sacrifices of the Old Covenant which were offered in the Temple of Jerusalem are finished and now the only sacrifice you have is My sacrifice on the cross for the salvation of the people of the world.
The end of the world will come one day but you do not know the day or the hour. However, many things will happen first such as wars, powerful earthquakes, famines and plagues and there will be other signs too before the end of the world comes. But be prepared for you do not know when it will happen. It could be tomorrow or it could be two hundred years from now but be always ready so when I return, I will take you with Me to heaven. I love you all.”
