The Third Prediction of the Passion

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 18, 31 – 34:

Then Jesus took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and everything written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be handed over to the Gentiles and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon; and after they have scourged him they will kill him, but on the third day he will rise.” But they understood nothing of this; the word remained hidden from them and they failed to comprehend what he said.

We have another snowstorm today as we wait for the Feast of Saint Joseph. It is wet snow that is falling which means there will not be any blowing snow tonight. Tomorrow we should have a sunny day for St. Joseph’s Feast. I am praying to Saint Joseph that he help me to get all the money I need to pay my big bill. Pray with me please.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You will soon celebrate My Passion My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are living the season of Lent at this time. I had to speak often to the Apostles about My Passion because they had great difficulty to accept that I would suffer and be killed. The Jews are the one who condemned Me but I was handed over to the Romans who beat Me and crowned Me with thorns. They laid a heavy cross on my shoulders and I had to carry this cross through the streets of Jerusalem and in fact I fell three times until I reached the place of My execution. At that place they nailed My feet and My hands to the cross and lifted it up and I suffered horribly for three hours on the cross. My Mother and the Apostle Saint John were present at the foot of My cross and Mary Magdalen was there too. After My death, I was taken down from the cross and buried nearby but as you know in three days I came back to life and appeared to many people including of course the Apostles. My sacrifice on the cross was for each one of you to atone for your sins and to open heaven for you. Come now and contemplate My Passion and Death and Resurrection and see that if you believe in Me as your Savior, you will be My great friend in this world and at the end I will bring you with Me to heaven. I love you all.”
