Knowledge Insufficient
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 8, 1 – 6:
Now in regard to meat sacrificed to idols, we realize that “all of us have knowledge” ; knowledge inflates with pride, but love builds up. If anyone supposes he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know. But if one loves God, one is known by him.
So about the eating of meat sacrificed to idols; we know that “there is no idol in the world,” and that “there is no God but one.” Indeed, even though there are so-called gods in heaven and on earth (there are, to be sure, many “gods” and may “lords”),
yet for us there is one God, the Father from whom all things are and for whom we exist;
and one Lord, Jesus Christ; through whom all things are and through whom we exist.
We had a beautiful day today Saturday. The sun came out in the afternoon and a lot of the snow melted. We will have another beautiful sunny day tomorrow and I am sure more snow will disappear. The roads are almost all clear of snow once again.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that there is only one God who is the Creator of all that exists and I am the only Lord and Savior through whom all things are and through whom you all exist.
Are there idols existing in the world? Idols are only the product of peoples’ imagination. They do not exist as such but some have invented them and they got the people to come and worship these non-existent beings. Some call them gods or lords but all this too is just foolishness because there is only one God who is Lord of all.
Many of the pagan people had their idols and gods and they would offer them sacrifices and worship them. I can only say that all these gods can only come from the evil one and anyone who worship such beings are worshipping the devil. Have nothing to do with Hinduism or Buddhism for these are not from God. The Romans at the time I was living on earth had many gods too and all this was false. It was part of paganism. Today New Age goes back to these pagan religions and it is of the devil. Please do not have anything to do with this New Age movement.
Come My dear friends and follow Me for I am true and I gave My life for you to save you. Come and walk with Me and you will be with Me one day in heaven. I love you all.”
