Lawsuits before Unbelievers

A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians 6, 1 – 11:

How can any one of you with a case against another dare to bring it to the unjust for judgment instead of to the holy ones? Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world? If the world is to be judged by you, are you unqualified for the lowest law courts?
Do you not know that we will judge angels? Then why not everyday matters? If, therefore, you have courts for everyday matters, do you seat as judges people of no standing in the church? I say this to shame you. Can it be that there is not one among you wise enough to be able to settle a case between brothers? But rather brother goes to court against brother, and that before unbelievers?
Now indeed then it is, in any case, a failure on your part that you have lawsuits against one another. Why not rather put up with injustice? Why not rather let yourselves be cheated? Instead, you inflict injustice and cheat, and this to brothers. Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor by prostitutes nor practicing homosexuals nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the Kingdom of God. That is what some of you used to be; but now you have had yourselves washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

I wish to thank those who sent me money today. I got $500 and this is a great gift. I hope that more money will come in soon so I can pay the remaining bills. I will need the money for Thursday this week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Do not bring your brother or sister to court My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. It is terrible if you bring your brother or sister of the faith to court over a matter which should be cleared by one of you. I do not want you to be judged by unbelievers, you who are My friends and who believe in Me. If you do this it will be an injustice to one whom you are to love with all your heart and you know that any person who performs injustices cannot enter the Kingdom of God. This means that you will not go to heaven. If one or other of your brothers or sisters has done something wrong rather put up with the injustice and pray for that person. You all do wrong at times but if you repent of your sins, then I will take those sins away and you will receive the graces you need to do better in the future. Be thankful to God that you have been sanctified and justified in My Name. I love you all and I bless you.”

P.S. We had a cloudy day and there was rain in the afternoon but all the little snow we had is gone.
