Transfer to Caesarea

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 23, 23 – 35:

Then the commander summoned two of the centurions and said, “Get two hundred soldiers ready to go to Caesarea by nine o’clock tonight, along with seventy horsemen and two hundred auxiliaries. Provide mounts for Paul to ride and give him safe conduct to Felix the governor.” Then he wrote a letter with this content; “Claudius Lysias to his excellency the governor Felix, greetings. This man, seized by the Jews and about to be murdered by them, I rescued after intervening with my troops when I learned that he was a Roman citizen. I wanted to learn the reason for their accusations against him so I brought him down to their Sanhedrin. I discovered that he was accused in matters of controversial questions of their law and not of any charge deserving death or imprisonment. Since it was brought to my attention that there will be a plot against the man, I am sending him to you at once, and have also notified his accusers to state their case against him before you.”
So the soldiers, according to their orders, took Paul and escorted him by night to Antipatris. The next day they returned to the compound, leaving the horsemen to complete the journey with him. When they arrived in Caesarea they delivered the letter to the governor and presented Paul to him. When he had read it and asked to what province he belonged, and learned that he was from Cilicia, he said, “I shall hear your case when your accusers arrive.” Then he ordered him to be held in custody in Herod’s praetorium.

In Quebec City in the Province of Quebec, they are celebrating the 350th anniversary of the Church dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. There will be a great meeting of all the Bishops of America at this church. Let us pray for the Province of Quebec because the Catholics there are not going to church. Only about 10% go to church on Sunday.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. I know as My followers you suffer much for the evil one is at work to destroy you so that he can win the fight to bring the people on his side. However, I am there so follow Me and I will win over him. My great friend, Saint Paul, suffered much when he was in Jerusalem and the Jews who were in concert with the evil one wanted to kill him. I made sure that they would not be able to lay hands on him. So I sent him to Caesarea where he would be safe. I protected him with a lot of soldiers and horsemen so no one could attack him. He did get to Caesarea without any trouble. There with Governor Felix he was in good hands.
Today there are so many people who have rejected me and they live in horrible sins. Some commit adultery, abortion, and others life in same-sex union. All this is against what I taught when I was on earth. I call you again My friends to pray for all of these people that they come out of darkness and sin and return to believe in Me and to follow Me. I bless you all and I give you all the graces you need. I love you all.”

P.S. We had a lot of rain on Sunday morning but it became sunny in the afternoon. Thank you Lord.
