Herod’s Death

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 12, 20 – 25:

Herod had long been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon, who now came to him in a body. After winning over Blastus, the king’s chamberlain, they sued for peace because their country was supplied with food from the king’s territory. On an appointed day, Herod, arrived in royal robes, and seated on the rostrum, addressed them publicly. The assembled crowd cried out, This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” At once the angel of the Lord struck him down because he did not ascribe the honor to God; and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last. But the word of God continued to spread and grow.
After Barnabas and Saul completed their relief mission, they returned to Jerusalem, taking with them John, who is called Mark.

Today I am praying for a young Muslim girl who is in her teens. Sometime ago this girl had a vision of Jesus who spoke to her. I ask you all to pray for her for the Lord calls her to become a member of His Church. This girl was born in Iran and is about 18 years old.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who have great faith in My Son Jesus and you go to Holy Mass every Sunday. I am praying for you all.
King Herod was not a good man and you know that he was the one who caused great suffering to My Son and he gave the Jews the right to crucify Him. He also caused much problems to the Apostles as they were working hard to begin the Church. He caused great suffering to Saint Peter and the others. When he allowed the people to call him a god, then an angel came and struck him down and he was eaten by worms and died. Anyone who works against My Son Jesus will surely be punished one day.
I call you all to believe with all your heart in Jesus My Son. He is your Savior who died a horrible death on the cross. I was there at the foot of the cross when he died and it caused me great suffering. Indeed it was like a sword had pierced My Heart. Pray my dear children for the conversion of all the people of the world that the world may be renewed and a great period of peace, love and joy may descend upon the world. I bless you all.”

P.S. We had one of the most beautiful days this summer. It was sunny all day and there was a little wind which kept the heat away. It was warm but not too much. I thank the Lord for this special day. This evening, the first Friday of August, I will have a Healing Service in the chapel of Our Blessed Mother.
