Saul Preaches in Damascus

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 9, 19 – 22:

Saul (Paul) stayed some days with the disciples in Damascus, and he began at once to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. All who heard him were astounded and said, “Is not this the man who in Jerusalem ravaged those who call upon this name, and came here expressly to take them back in chains to the chief priests?” But Saul grew all the stronger and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus, proving that this is the Messiah.

A woman who was pregnant and living in New Brunswick went to see her doctor and he sent her for tests. When the results came back one could clearly see that the child had a huge head with water on the brain. The doctor told the woman to abort that child because he will not live long. She refused to listen to the doctor. It was her mother who phoned me that her daughter was carrying a child who had water on the brain and the head was very big. She asked me to pray for this child. I prayed and asked the Lord to heal this unborn child so that he could be born normally. About a month later she was sent again to the hospital for more tests. This time the tests came back and the baby’s head was normal. That baby was born with a normal head and no water on the brain. May the Lord be praised.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe in the conversion of Saul who tried to destroy My Church and after his baptism he was called Paul and he went to various countries in the world preaching about Me. In Damascus where he was baptized he soon began to preach in the synagogues to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah, the Savior, and that all people including the Jews were to believe in Him. The Jewish people could not believe that Saul who is now Paul had changed completely from going around arresting the Christians and bringing them back to Jerusalem in chains and now he proclaimed that he was also a Christian. He believed in Jesus as the Son of God sent by the Father to be Our Savior. What a great conversion he underwent. He was now ready to suffer for Jesus and to work every day for the Church. He is the Apostle Paul, who died in Rome as a martyr of the Church. He is My great friend.”

P.S. We had a lovely sunny day today Saturday. I spent time this afternoon at the beach in Tignish Shore where the temperature was not too hot. I thank the Lord for this wonderful day.
