Jesus’ Mother at the Foot of the Cross

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 19, 25 – 27:

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary, the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son.” Then he said to his disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

Today is the day after the funeral of Leo Bernard, my brother-in-law. I will remember him for a long time for he was a great friend of mine. Today was a very beautiful sunny day with the temperature reaching 9 degrees Celsius. All the snow in the car park in front of my house is gone although there is still some snow along the roads and in the woods.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words, “I bless you My son Melvin and My sons and daughters who walk with Me every day. Next Friday you will be with Me at the cross of My Son Jesus when He died in terrible suffering to atone for all the sins of mankind. It was there at the foot of the cross that My Son Jesus spoke to Me saying, “Woman, behold, your son.” The word ‘son’ means all of you who accept Him as your Savior and I as your Mother. Never forget that you have a Mother in heaven who loves you and who prays for you all the time. You can come to Me at any time with any problem or sickness you have and I will go to My Son and intercede for you. He has never said ‘no’ to My requests. He has great love for Me. He has told a woman who did not have a devotion to Me these words, “How can you love Me if you do not love My Mother.” Therefore, all those who love My Son Jesus also love Me who is Jesus’ Mother and your Mother. I love you all and I bless you.”
