Christ and the Lawless One

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Thessalonians (2 Thess 2:1-15):

We ask you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling with him, not to be shaken out of your minds suddenly, or to be alarmed either by a “spirit,” or by an oral statement, or by a letter allegedly from us to the effect that the day of the Lord is at hand. Let no one deceive you in any way. For unless the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is revealed, the one doomed to perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple of God, claiming that he is a god.
Do you not recall that while I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and render powerless by the manifestation of his coming, the one whose coming springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders that lie, and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved. Therefore, God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie, that all who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned.
But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth. To this end he has also called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.

When Our Blessed Mother came the first time to visit me, She told me to go to Amanda and ask her to paint Her image. I went to see Amanda and told her that Our Lady had given me her name as the one who would paint Her image. Amanda said that at last you have come. I asked her to explain what she meant by these words. She told me that two weeks before, she was in prayer and she heard these words, “Do not start any new painting. Someone will come to ask you to paint a picture of Our Lady.” I was the one who fulfilled what she had heard.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Thank the Father My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters because He has chosen you as the firstfruits for salvation.
“You know that I will come back on earth one day to judge the living and the dead. Nobody knows when this will happen. So do not believe anyone who tells you that it will be next month or next year. All these stories are lies that come from the evil one. Before I come to earth, the lawless one has to come. He will tell you that he is god and that he has all power. This too is not true but pure lies. When this evil person comes, he will cause you much harm. Do not follow him but continue to follow Me, for I am your only Savior. When I come I will get rid of this evil one and I will call you all together for the final judgment. Do not wait but come and follow Me now, because if you wait it could be too late. I want to bring you all with Me to heaven. I love you all.”

          Father Melvin
