The Vision of Peter

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (10:9-16):

The next day, while they were on their way and nearing the city, Peter went up to the roof terrace to pray at about noontime. He was hungry and wished to eat, and while they were making preparations he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something resembling a large sheet coming down, lowered to the ground by its four corners. In it were all the earth’s four-legged animals and reptiles and the birds of the sky. A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.” But Peter said, “Certainly not, sir. For never have I eaten anything profane and unclean.” The voice spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.” This happened three times, and then the object was taken up into the sky.

I went fishing trout yesterday morning with a friend of mine. The trout were not biting much but I managed to catch four trout but my friend did not catch even one. Yesterday we had a beautiful sunny day and it was more than 10 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. I enjoy going fishing and I hope I will be able to go again soon.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be attentive, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great love for Me and who pray every day. At times I can show you a vision or give you a word to help you in your Christian life. I gave Saint Peter a vision one day of all kinds of animals, reptiles and birds. I did that because he was a Jew and the Jewish people have different laws about what they can eat. When I told Saint Peter to get up and slaughter, he refused because as a Jew he could not eat hardly anything shown to him. It was then that I taught him the teachings of God. I told him that what God has made clean, no one is to call profane. This means that you can eat everything that the Father has created for you to eat. After that Saint Peter started eating whatever the Gentiles ate, even pork. From this you can see that I did not want the Christians to follow those rules of the Jews, which do not come from the Father.
“This also means for all of you who believe in Me, your Savior, that you are to love every person whether that person is a Christian or not and even those who are opposed to the Christian Religion. What you are to do is to pray for them that they will come to accept the Christian Faith and stop their opposition to Christian doctrine. I bless you all.”
