The Conspiracy against Jesus

Dear Friends,
A reading from
St. Luke’s Gospel (22:1-13):
Now the feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was drawing near, and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking a way to put him to death, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered into Judas, the one surnamed Iscariot, who was counted among the Twelve, and he went to the chief priests and temple guards to discuss a plan for handing him over to them. They were pleased and agreed to pay him money. He accepted their offer and sought a favorable opportunity to hand him over to them in the absence of a crowd.
When the day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread arrived, the day for sacrificing the Passover lamb, he sent out Peter and John, instructing them, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.” They asked him, “Where do you want us to make the preparations?” And he answered them, “When you go into the city, a man will meet you carrying a jar of water. Follow him into the house that he enters and say to the master of the house, ‘The teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”‘ He will show you a large upper room that is furnished. Make the preparations there.” Then they went off and found everything exactly as he had told them, and there they prepared the Passover.

We had a cool day yesterday with the temperature just above the freezing point. It snowed a little now and then and some rain fell.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Always listen to what I have to say My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have accepted Me as your Lord and Savior. You know that the one who arranged for My arrest was Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve Apostles. He decided to sell Me for money to the Jewish leaders. It was Thursday and I sent two of the Apostles, Peter and John, to prepare for the Passover. I had explained everything to them about the place and they found it exactly as I had told them. They prepared for this great feast.
“You, My brothers and sisters, are now preparing for the Last Supper and on Friday it will be My great suffering and at the end I will be nailed to the cross to die. I accepted all this for you so that you could be brought out from the road to Hell to the right road to heaven. Only My death on the cross could save you. I had to atone for all the sins of everyone in the world from the beginning to the end of the world. I did everything that My Father had asked Me and I did it for you because I love you all. I bless you all.”
