The Transfiguration of Jesus

Dear friends,
A reading from the Gospel of St. Mark (
9:2-8) :

After six days, Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could bleach them. Then Elijah appeared to them along with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus. Then Peter said to Jesus in reply, “Rabbi, it is good that we are here! Let us make three tents; one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” He hardly knew what to say, they were so terrified. Then a cloud came, casting a shadow over them; then from the cloud came a voice, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.” Suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone but Jesus alone with them.

I am daily getting better although I am not completely healed yet. I still have pain in my stomach especially at night and when I worked a little I soon feel tired. I thank the Lord that I am improving every day and I know that in a few weeks I will be completely well.

I wish to thank all those who have been such a great help to me to pay my bills. Thank you for all your donations. I know now that I will have heating oil in the winter to keep me warm. If you send a cheque to me in the future please make it out to Our Lady of PEI Inc.

Below you will find the message given to Father Melvin by Jesus, Our Lord. He spoke to me these words.

I bless you My brother who never forgets Me and I bless all My brothers and sisters scattered throughout the world who believe in Me and follow My directions.

Today I wish to talk to you about My Transfiguration on the mountain. I took three Apostles with Me and I showed Myself to them in My divinity. I was changed and My clothes were brightly white. Elijah who had gone hundreds and hundreds of years ago now appeared to them and then a second one appeared, Moses, who had died many, many years before. At the end they heard the voice of My Father telling them, ‘This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him.’ All this was to prepare the Apostles for what was coming: namely My Passion and death on the cross and then My Resurrection. Read this passage often and it will bring you closer to Me and your faith will grow strong. I love you all.

Father Melvin
P.S. I greet you all today. I am getting better and I have decided to start again putting out the messages. May the Lord bless you all.
