God’s Irrevocable Call

Dear Friends,

Please read these words of St. Paul from his Letter to the Romans (11:25-36):

I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not become wise in your own estimation: a hardening has come upon Israel in part, until the full number of the Gentiles comes in, and thus all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The deliverer will come out of Zion, he will turn away godlessness from Jacob; and this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.” In respect to the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but in respect to election, they are beloved because of the patriarchs. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you once disobeyed God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now disobeyed in order that, by virtue of the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all. Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given him anything that he may be repaid?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

It was cloudy yesterday but we did not get any rain; and it is still cloudy this morning but there is no rain. I hope the sun will come out today.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I have mercy on you, My brother Melvin and on all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. I was born in Israel and the Jews were the first ones to be called to enter My Kingdom. You know that they rejected Me. I was arrested and condemned to death and they nailed Me to the cross where I died in horrible suffering, but after three days I came back to life never to die again. My Passion and Death was to redeem you all and bring you into the Kingdom of heaven if you believe in Me. As the Jews rejected Me, so it was the chance for the Gentiles to answer My call and enter My Church. After the Gentiles have come in, then the Jews will be saved. Yes, My mercy will triumph. All have disobeyed God so that the Father could show mercy upon all. Now is the time for all non-Jews to come forward to believe in Me, their Savior. Come and enter My Church and be an active member of it. It is as a member of My Church that you will be saved. Now is the time of mercy, the time to repent of your sins and to receive mercy. I am your friend and My arms are wide opened, so come and you will not be disappointed. Let us have a deep friendship and spend time in prayer every day and our relationship will grow daily. I love you and I bless you all.”
