The Healing of a Mute Person

Dear Friends,

As they were going out, a demoniac who could not speak was brought to Jesus, and when the demon was driven out the mute person spoke. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” But the Pharisees said, “He drives out demons by the prince of demons.” Jesus went around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness. At the sight of the crowds, Jesus’ heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 9:32-38)

Last evening I was at the Charismatic Prayer meeting and a good group attended. It was very powerful and one young man gave a powerful witness. Jesus is great and how He can help us! Yesterday afternoon I had a Healing Mass during the retreat and the Holy Spirit was very strong especially during the Healing Service.

Next week on Monday evening I will go to Summerside at St. Paul’s Church for a Healing Mass. I go to this church often during the year and a good group usually attends.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I have great love and compassion for you, My brother Melvin, and for all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. I especially have compassion on all those who suffer or who are sick. You know suffering does not come from Me. Sickness and suffering entered the world because of sin. Before the sin of Adam and Eve there was no sickness or suffering or death in the world. All this entered the world as a consequence of sin. I continue to show My compassion for all those who suffer by healing the sick and I take away all pain and suffering.

Come to Me, My friends, and I will help you. Do not let yourself be taken by the evil one. If you walk with Me every day, he will not have any hold on you. I love you all.”
