Testimony to Jews in Rome

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 28, 17 – 22:

Three days later Paul called together the leaders of the Jews. When they had gathered he said to them, “My brothers, although I had done nothing against our people or our ancestral customs, I was handed over to the Romans as a prisoner from Jerusalem. After trying my case the Roman wanted to release me, because they found nothing against me deserving the death penalty. But when the Jews objected, I was obliged to appeal to Caesar, even though I had no accusation to make against my own nation. This is the reason, then, I have requested to see you and to speak with you, for it is on account of the hope of Israel that I wear these chains.” They answered him, “We have received no letter from Judea about you, nor has any of the brothers arrived with a damaging report or rumor about you. But we should like to hear you present your views, for we know that this sect is denounced everywhere.”

Many people still come to see me because they were healed in the past. Some were healed of headaches, pain in the legs, others could not sleep at night and others had pain in the head. I had prayed with them and they were healed of all their troubles. Now they love to come to pray in Our Lady of Prince Edward Island little shrine and to express their love for Her. Yes, She loves us all with all Her heart.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I have given each one of you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, a special mission which I want you to accomplish. It is in prayer that you will be told your mission and if you agree and bring it about I will be with you and help you. I had told Saint Paul that he would go to Rome because I had a special mission for him there. Three days after he arrived he began that mission. He called the Jews living there to gather with him and he spoke to them. He explained to them why he was in Rome and why he was wearing chains. The reason he gave was that the Jews in Jerusalem wanted to kill him although he had not done anything wrong. It was the Romans who protected him. At the end he had to appeal to Caesar in order to remove himself from Jerusalem. Now he has arrived in Rome and there he will work for Me. He will first work with the Jews in Rome and then he will go to the Gentiles. Many will come to follow Me. I bless My dear Paul and I bless you all too. I love you all.”

Arrival in Rome

Arrival in Rome

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 28, 11 – 16:

Three months later we set sail on a ship that had wintered at the island. It was an Alexandrian ship with the “Dioscuri” as its figurehead. We put in at Syracuse and stayed there three days, and from there we sailed round the coast and arrived at Rhegium. After a day, a south wind came up and in two days we reached Putcoli. There we found some brothers and were urged to stay with them for seven days. And thus we came to Rome. The brothers from there heard about us and came as far as the Forum of Appius and three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul gave thanks to God and took courage. When he entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.

A young man who lives in New Brunswick came to visit me one day. He was very depressed and very lonely as he lived alone. He said that his life had no meaning for him. He did not go to church on Sunday and he drank too much. I prayed with him and told him that he will now have to go to church every Sunday and to go to confession and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I aslo asked him to pray his rosary every day. I prayed with him and asked the Lord to send the Holy Spirit upon him so that his inner life could change. When I saw him again some time later, he was completely changed and he was going to church every Sunday and receiving Holy Communion. Jesus had healed him spiritually.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I am your protector My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and pray to Me every day. Saint Paul was sent from Israel to Rome and it took many months with plenty of trouble before he reached that city. I was there with him every day to protect him. He had been told by Me that he would reach Rome and there he was to work for the growth of My Church. St. Paul was very happy when he arrived to be met by My followers who were very kind to him and invited him to stay at their homes for seven days. They had heard about him how he worked hard in many countries of the Middle East and even in Greece. They considered him a great saint and a great preacher.
Saint Paul is a great example for all of you. He lived his life in union with Me and he offered his life every day to Me to do the work that I gave him to do. He also wrote many letters which you find in the Bible. He had been to all these cities and he was pleased to write to them to encourage them to continue to follow Me. These letters are for you all to read and to learn how to live as a faithful follower of mine. I bless you all and I love you all.”

P.S. We had the warmest day today Sunday of the month of September. It was up to 25 degrees Celsius. Thank you Lord for this wonderful weather.

Winter in Malta

Winter in Malta

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 28, 1 – 10:

Once we had reached safety we learned that the island was called Malta. The natives showed us extraordinary hospitality; they lit a fire and welcomed all of us because it had begun to rain and was cold. Paul had gathered a bundle of brushwood and was putting it on the fire when a viper, escaping from the heat, fastened on his hand. When the natives saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man must certainly be a murderer; though he escaped the sea. Justice has not let him remain alive. But he shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no harm. They were expecting him to swell up or suddenly to fall down dead but, after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god. In the vicinity of that place were lands belonging to a man named Publius, the chief of the island. He welcomed us and received us cordially as his guests for three days. It so happened that the father of Publius was sick with a fever and dysentery. Paul visited him and, after praying, had his hands on him and healed him. After this had taken place, the rest of the sick on the island came to Paul and were cured. They paid us great honor and when we eventually set sail they brought us the provisions we needed.

There is great danger in the world today especially coming from the extremist Moslems in the Middle East. The fighting is going on and it will spread so please pray for peace in the world and especially in the Middle East. Those countries that could be threatened first are the countries in Europe. You are all called to pray and to go to church every Sunday and to renew your faith in the Lord. If you are allowed, then please go and receive Holy Communion as often as you can. Then the Lord will protect you.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every part of the world to come close to Me and to read what Saint Paul did when he was in Malta. They had landed on the Island of Malta and they were very well received by the people there. They lit a fire and Saint Paul brought some brushwood to put on the fire. What happened was that a snake fastened to his hand and the people thought the snake would bite him and he would die. They thought he was a bad man perhaps a murderer. However, he shook his hand and the snake fell back into the fire and he was not bitten at all. When the chief of the Island came to them, he invited them to his place and they stayed there for three days. Saint Paul heard that the father of this man was sick, so he went to visit him and prayed with him and he was healed. When the people heard this, they brought all their sick to him and he prayed with them all and they were all healed. So the people of Malta were very happy with Saint Paul for the great work he did. I am the one who gave Saint Paul this power of healing and he used it well. All the people who were in the ship including Saint Paul pass the winter in Malta and left in the Spring for Rome.
A good number of Christians have been given the power to heal the sick. They do what I did when I was on earth and so they healed many people. Even today there are some who have this power from Me and they use it with great success. Even Father Melvin has this power from Me and many have been healed by this power. I bless you all.”

P.S. We had another beautiful sunny day on Saturday and it should be the same tomorrow Sunday. Thank you Lord.
