The Work of the Holy Spirit

The Work of the Holy Spirit

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 2, 10 – 16:

For the Spirit scrutinizes everything, even the depth of God. Among human beings, who knows what pertains to a person except the spirit of the person that is within? Similarly, no one knows what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God. And we speak about them not with words taught by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, describing spiritual realities in spiritual terms..
Now the natural person does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it, because it is judged spiritually. The spiritual person, however, can judge everything but is not subject to judgment by anyone.
For “who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to counsel him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

I wish to thank all those who sent me money. I received today $1,200 and this is a great help. There is still about $2,000 to clear the whole thing. I pray that the rest will come soon. May the Lord bless you all and may Our Blessed Mother pray that you receive all the graces you need.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that there are three divine persons in the Holy Trinity. The three Names are: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The three divine persons are equal and have all power. In the reading of today from Saint Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, Paul speaks about the Holy Spirit. Yes, we know that some have rejected the Holy Spirit and this is the case with the Jewish people and a certain amount of the Gentiles too. These purely natural people are taken over by the things of this world and they think in a worldly manner. For them the Spirit of God is foolishness because they cannot understand what the Spirit is.
The people however who believe in Me, their Savior, and have received the Holy Spirit in Baptism and by Confirmation, they believe in the Holy Spirit and they know the power of the Spirit. They have heard people speaking in tongues, others have prophesied and others have healed sick people. I am the one who heals the sick with the power of the Holy Spirit. So I call you all to believe in the Holy Spirit and to accept all the strength and power that He gives you. I bless you all.”

The True Wisdom

The True Wisdom

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 2, 1 – 10:

When I came to you, brothers and sisters, proclaiming the mystery of God, I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.
Yet we do speak a wisdom to those who are mature, but not a wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are passing away. Rather we speak God’s wisdom, mysterious, hidden, which God predetermined before the ages for our glory, and which none of the rulers of this age knew for, if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written:
“What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and what has not entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love him,” this God has revealed to us through the Spirit.

This evening I will go to our parish church for one hour of adoration. We have adoration every week on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Today I will be asking the Lord for help so I can find the money needed to pay the court here in Canada. I did get some money but I do not have enough. I will ask Our Lord through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother to touch some people who could send me some money right away. I wish to thank those who sent me money during the last week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great faith in Me. Saint Paul in the passage of his first letter to the Corinthians written above tells us that he resolved to know nothing but Me, Jesus Christ, and the fact that I was crucified. He did not speak with earthly wisdom but with a demonstration of spirit and power. He could prophecy and he also healed the sick. The wisdom that Saint Paul spoke was the wisdom of God which no rulers of the time knew for if they had know God’s wisdom they would not have crucified Me.
My friends you do not know what the Father has prepared for you if you love Him. Come and follow Him and you will receive eternal glory with all the angels and saints in heaven. Do not put your mind in the things of this world but walk with Me, your Savior, and live a strong spiritual life and you will grow in holiness. Come imitate Me and I will help you with all the graces you need. Remember My dear Mother is praying for you for you are Her children. I love you and bless you all.”

P.S. We had rain overnight and all the snow is gone. I thank the Lord.

Paradox of the Cross

Paradox of the Cross

A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 1, 18 – 25:

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside.”
Where is the wise one? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish? For since in the wisdom of God the world did not come to know God through wisdom, it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those who have faith. For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

I call you all to continue praying this week that the money I need to pay different court costs will come in, and after this I will receive the money needed to build. I need the money by Thursday this coming week. I know that Our Blessed Mother is praying for She is the one who asked for Her Shrine.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I ask you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that you do not think like those who have no faith. Some people look at My Cross as foolishness to the Gentiles and a stumbling block to the Jews. However, you My friends who believe in Me see My Cross as the symbol of salvation for all those who believe. When you think that I am the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, and yet I was killed by nailing Me to a cross you may ask why did God the Father allow this to happen. He allowed this because of your sins. My death on the cross was My great Sacrifice I offered to the Father for your salvation. I atoned for all your sins and if you believe in Me and repent of your sins, they will be all taken away. So you can look at My crucifixion as the act of My great love for you. I want all of you to be saved and to go to heaven for eternity. Come My dear friends and accept My cross as a great symbol of My love for you. I want all of you to have a cross in your home and this cross will remind you and all those who come in to your home that I gave My life for love of you. My love will never end. Come to Me and I will give you all the wonderful gifts and graces that you need. Remain always close to me and have a personal relationship with Me. Give Me your life and I will lead you along the true path that leads to life everlasting. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. We had a beautiful sunny day and most of the snow that fell yesterday is gone now.
