Jesus Arrested

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 18, 1 – 11:

When he had said this, Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidron valley to where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered. Judas his betrayer also knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. So Judas got a band of soldiers and guards from the chief priests and the Pharisees and went there with lanterns, torches, and weapons. Jesus, knowing everything that was going to happen to him, went out and said to them, “Whom are you looking for?” They answered him, “Jesus the Nazorean.” He said to them, “I AM,” they turned away and fell to the ground. So he again asked them, “Whom are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus the Nazorean.” Jesus answered, “I told you that I AM. So if you are looking for me, let these men go.” This was to fulfill what he had said, “I have not lost any of those you gave me.” Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it, struck the high priest’s slave, and cut off his right ear. The slave’s name was Malchus. Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its scabbard. Shall I not drink the cup that the Father gave me?”

We had a fairly nice day Wednesday. It was cloudy in the morning and some rain fell but the sun came out in the afternoon and it was bright in the evening. I went to a prayer meeting in evening at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Palmer Road, for a full hour. I go every week on Wednesday evening.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words

“I love you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have meditated on My Passion and Death on the cross. On Holy Thursday after the Last Supper and the institution of the Holy Eucharist, the Apostles and I left the upper room and went to the Garden of Gethsemane for the night. We often went there to sleep as we did not have any inn where we could sleep. Of course Judas Iscariot knew this garden as he also had come many times to sleep there with us. I knew that I would be arrested that night and I was ready to do the will of My Father. When Judas with the soldiers and guards arrived I went to meet them and asked them this question, “Whom are you looking for?” They said they wanted Jesus the Nazorean. I told them that I was the one. When I said that they all fell on the ground to let all know that I am God and I have all power but I would let myself be taken by them. I asked the same question twice and they answered in the same way. So I told them to let the Apostles go. It was then that Saint Peter took out his sword and cut off the ear of the high priest’ slave. I told Peter to put back his sword where it was and I picked up the ear and placed it back where it was and it was healed. I told the Apostles that I was ready to drink the cup that My Father gave me. I bless you all.”

The Prayer of Jesus (3)

The Prayer of Jesus (3)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 17, 20 – 26:

Jesus said, “I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one, that the world may know that you sent me, and that you love them even as you loved me. Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me. I made know to them your name and I will make it known, that the love with which you love me may be in them and I in them.”

I will go to adoration this evening at our parish church for one hour. I go every Tuesday for an hour to be with the Lord Jesus on the altar. Every Tuesday there is adoration at our church from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. This indeed is a great gift for the people of this parish.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Join Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters for adoration at least for one hour a week. It was on Holy Thursday that I prayed to Our Heavenly Father while I was still together with the Apostles. I did not pray only for the Apostles but for all those who in the future would believe in Me. I want that all of you may be one with Your Heavenly Father and with Me, your Savior. I want that My great love I have for you will show itself by your perfection so that the world may know that the Father sent Me to you to redeem you and bring you to heaven with Me. Every Catholic is a gift of the Father to Me. Those who believe in Me as the Son of God also believe in you Heavenly Father as the Creator of the world and the Creator of all the people of the world. Let us all remain united for I live in your heart if you follow Me. I bless you all.”

The Prayer of Jesus (2)

The Prayer of Jesus (2)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 17, 6 – 19:

Jesus said to His Heavenly Father, “I revealed your name to those whom you gave me out of the world. They belong to you, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything you gave me is from you, because the words you gave to me I have given to them, and they accepted them and truly understand that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me. I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours in mine, and I have been glorified in them. And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are. When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you. I speak this in the world so that they may share my joy completely. I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I send them into the world. And I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth.”

Yesterday Monday we had a rainy day. It rained from morning to evening. It should be nicer today. I thank the Lord that now I have some food to eat and I can sleep well. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Come My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters and have a great love for Our Heavenly Father. When I was with the Apostles at the Last Supper, I offered a prayer to My Heavenly Father for all of you who believe in Me. I offered all My dear brothers and sisters to the Father especially at that time as it was now time for Me to pass from this world and go and be with My Father. So My prayer was to ask for the consecration of all those the Father had given Me. I prayed that all be protected from the evil one and that they remain always in close union with the Father and with Me. I know that the world does not love them because they belong to Me. I also consecrated Myself for them so that they be consecrated in all that is true.
My dear friends, I want you all to promise My Heavenly Father that you will pray every day and go to Holy Mass every Sunday. If you do this you will be filled with peace, love and joy and I will bless you everyday. I love you all.”
