The Cleansing of a Leper

The Cleansing of a Leper

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 5, 12 – 16:

Now there was a man full of leprosy in one of the towns where Jesus was, and when he saw Jesus, he fell prostrate, pleaded with him, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.” Jesus stretch out his hand, touched him, and said, “I do will it. Be made clean.” And the leprosy left him immediately. Then he ordered him not to tell anyone, but “Go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed, that will be proof for them.” The report about him spread all the more, and great crowds assembled to listen to him and to be cured of their ailments, but he would withdraw to deserted places to pray.

When I was in Africa, I was in charge of a parish where there was a village of Lepers. Hundreds of lepers lived in that village and they had a chapel there. I used to go there often and offered Masses with them and I prayed with these poor people. Some had lost all their fingers from this sickness and others had lost a great part of their feet. They only had a stump to walk. In the past a person with leprosy could not live with healthy people because he or she could give that horrible sickness to them. So they were put with other lepers and the family would go about once a week to bring their relatives something to eat.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Pray My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that the people with this terrible sickness called leprosy may be healed. Yes, when I was living in Israel I healed many lepers. This horrible sickness had gone when I pronounced the words of healing. I would say something like this, “Be made clean.” This leper who was cleansed whose story is written above did not follow what I told him. I told him not to talk about his cleansing to anybody but to go to the priests and offer what Moses had prescribed for their healing. However, he went away and told everybody that I had cleansed him from leprosy, so all the people in the whole area heard about this and they came to listen to Me and they brought the sick to Me to heal them.
I loved to go to a deserted area and to stay there for a time to pray to My Heavenly Father. I was a contemplative and I would take time with My Father to contemplate Him and to listen to all that He had to say to Me. You know that both My Father and I had a very closed relationship. We always acted as ONE.
Whenever you are sick come to Me and offer yourself completely to Me with the great desire to do all that I want you to do. Then indeed I will heal you and give you the graces and the strength you need to overcome any obstacle you come across. I love you all and I want to help you, everyone of you.”

The Call of Simon the Fisherman

The Call of Simon the Fisherman

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 5, 1 – 11:

While the crowd was pressing in on Jesus and listening to the word of God, he was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret. He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, he asked him to put out a short distance from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. After he had finished speaking; he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets.” When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come to help them. They came and filled both boats so that they were in danger of sinking. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” For astonishment at the catch of fish they had made seized him and all those with him, and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid, from now on you will be catching men.” When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed him.

I found all the money I needed except for $1,000. I need that money as soon as possible so I can pay the court and then receive Our Blessed Mother’s money to build Her shrine and to build the two monasteries that Jesus asked me to do. Please pray that this money will come in tomorrow.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You all have a call from Me My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have dedicated your lives to Me. Let us look at the call of Simon Peter who became the head of the Church I founded. I was by a lake and many people came there to listen to Me. Simon Peter was there washing his nets as he had gone fishing the whole night. There was another boat of his friends there too. The people were pressing in on Me as they wanted to listen to My teaching. So I got into Peter’s boat and I told him to put out a short distance from the shore. After I had finished teaching the people I told Peter to go out into the deep and to lower his net. He did so and the net was full of fish. He called the people in the other boat to come and help him. They filled both boats with the fish. They were amazed at seeing all that fish. Then I told Simon Peter these words, “Do not be afraid, for now on you will be catching men.” That was his call to become an Apostle and to be in time the leader of My Church.
I call you to spend time in prayer and listen to My little voice in your heart. I will give you too the mission I have for you. Accept what I will tell you and you will receive all the graces you need to accomplish this mission. I love you and bless you all.”

The Cure of a Demoniac

The Cure of a Demoniac

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 4, 31 – 41:

Jesus then went down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee. He taught them on the Sabbath, and then were astonished at his teaching because he spoke with authority. In the synagogue there was a man with the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out in a loud voice, “Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are–the Holy One of God!” Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet! Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and come out of him without doing him any harm. They were all amazed and said to one another, “What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” And news of him spread everywhere in the surrounding region.
After he left the synagogue, he entered the house of Simon. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever, and they interceded with him about her. He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them.
At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them. And demons also came out from many, shouting, “You are the Son of God.” But he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak because they knew that he was the Messiah.

We had a very cold day on January 6th. It was minus 18 degrees Celsius the whole day. Although it was cold, it was sunny the whole day and no snow fell. There is a bit of snow on the ground now but what is worst is the ice. The side roads are covered with ice and it is the same thing with many driveways. It will be less cold tomorrow. I am telling you we need heat in the houses or we will freeze for sure.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to follow Me to Capernaum where I went after I was kicked out of Nazareth, the town where I grew up. I did the same thing in this town as I went to the synagogue on the Sabbath and I taught the people who were there. There was a possessed man sitting in the synagogue and he began to shout at Me saying, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are–the Holy One of God!” So you see the evil one spoke the truth about Me. He knew that I was the Son of God, the Messiah. I did not take time but I chased the evil one from this man. What the people saw was that the man fell to the floor but he was not harmed. The people were amazed that he was not hurt and that he was freed from this evil one. Many people in the surrounding countryside heard all about what I did there at Capernaum. Then I went to stay at Simon’s house where his mother-in-law was sick. I cured her and she began to wait on us. In the evening I cured many sick people who had been brought to the place where I was staying. I also chased away many evil spirits because many people were possessed. The evil spirits said these words, “You are the Son of God” and they knew that I was the Messiah.
My dear friends, you see how a day during My public life developed. I did work with power to show the people that I came from God and I could do great miracles such as healing the sick and chasing away evil spirits. Among those who follow Me today, some have received the same gifts from Me. They pray over the sick and they are healed and they also drive away evil spirits. These are blessed by Me and I call on you all to listen to them for they teach the truth. I bless you all.”
