Return of the Seventy-two

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 10, 17 – 20:

The seventy-two returned rejoicing, and said, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name.” Jesus said, “I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky. Behold, I have given you the power ‘to tread upon serpents and scorpions and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.’ Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Something horrible has happened in Canada. The Supreme Court of Canada has decided to dismiss the law that forbids assisted suicide. Up until now no doctor could assist a person to commit suicide. However, now with the approval of the Government, assisted suicide will be legal in Canada. I call on all the people especially in Canada to pray that assisted suicide will not be accepted by the people of this country. Write to the leaders to refuse to accept what the Supreme Court has done. Suicide is sinful in the eyes of God and anyone who assist a person to commit suicide commits a horrible sin. If this is accepted in Canada then we will come under the power of the devil. Please pray that this be reversed.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Rejoice My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me for I give you every day very special graces. You read a few days ago what I told the seventy-two disciples whom I sent to go and visit the towns and villages where I was to visit. They left to do the work that I had given them. Today you see the great joy these have as they return from their work. They were surprised that the demons were subjected to them. They had never seen that before. This shows the very special power and grace that I gave them to accomplish the work I asked them to do. I was happy to hear these words from them but I told them they should rejoice instead because their names are written in heaven.
So My dear friends, open your hearts to Me and accept to do the mission I have for you. In doing what I asked you, you too will be full of joy for that is one of the gifts I give My friends who follow Me. Come then and become missionaries to the people among whom you live. Do not be afraid to visit them and to speak about Me. Come and pray with the sick and I will help them. I love you all and I bless you.”

P.S. We had a beautiful sunny day with no wind and it was not very cold.

Reproaches to Unrepentant Towns

Reproaches to Unrepentant Towns

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 10, 13 – 16:

Jesus said, “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld,’ Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”

I wish to thank all those who sent me money to pay my debts. I went to New Brunswick today to bring the money to the lawyer. There was a meeting with the judge this afternoon and I am awaiting the result of that meeting. Now I need money to buy heating oil to heat my house. It was very cold this week so I will need heating oil next week. It cost almost $400 to fill the tank. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who have great faith in My Son Jesus. Pray and work hard to stop all those horrible sins that are going on today.
In the time when My Son Jesus lived on earth, there were many places and towns that did not accept Him and these people continued to sin against God all the time. He reproached these towns and He named them. Those towns are Chorazim, Bethsaida and Capernaum. If you went to these towns today what would you find. These towns are completely dead and nobody lives there. There are still parts of buildings standing but most is destroyed. This is what happens if God speaks against a town. It will become a dessert. It is the same with Tyre and Sidon. These two towns were also destroyed because of all the horrible sins that happened there.
My dear children, you have to change your evil habits and come and follow My Son Jesus. If you do not change the same thing will happen to your towns. One day they will be destroyed. God cannot stand seeing all those sins every day and no one repents of his or her sins. So come return to My Son Jesus and leave behind your sinful ways and follow the commandments of God. If you do this then you will receive special graces to live a happy life and you will have great peace. I love you all and I call you to repentance.”

The Mission of the Seventy-two

The Mission of the Seventy-two

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 10, 1 – 12:

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others whom he sent ahead of him in pairs to every town and place he intended to visit. He said to them, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest. Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves. Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals, and greet no one along the way. Into whatever home you enter first say, ‘Peace to this household.’ If a peaceful person lives there, your peace will rest on him, but if not, it will return to you. Stay in the same house and eat and drink what is offered to you, for the laborer deserves his payment. Do not move about from one house to another. Whatever town you enter and they welcome you, eat what is set before you, cure the sick in it and say to them, ‘The Kingdom of God is at hand for you.’ Whatever town you enter and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say, ‘The dust of your town that clings to our feet, even that we shake off against you.’ Yet know this: the Kingdom of God is at hand. I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom on that day than for that town.”

We had another snowstorm overnight and during the day Thursday but much less snow fell that was predicted. They said that we would received between 35 to 45 cm of snow. That is nearly two feet of snow. Instead only about a third of a foot fell. I could get out of my driveway without cleaning the snow. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow but it will be cold. I thank the Lord that not too much snow fell.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I have chosen you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to accomplish a special mission in the world. While I was on earth I selected seventy-two men to go ahead of Me in pairs to every town and place I was to visit. I told them what they had to do in these places. As they entered a town or village, they were to go to a home and if they were welcomed they were to stay in that house until they left that place. As they came into the house they were to say, ‘Peace to this household.’ If there was a peaceful person in that house, so their peace would rest on him. If not the peace would return to them. They were to stay there and eat there. Their job was to announce to the people these words, ‘The Kingdom of God is at hand for you.’ I was coming to that place and I was bringing My Kingdom to those people and I was ready to heal the sick and drive all evil spirits from these people. However, if the people did not welcome these people I sent to them, then they were to go into the streets and say, ‘The dust of your town that clings to our feet, even that we shake off against you.’ Then they would say these words, ‘Yet know this: the Kingdom of God is at hand.’
These people did a great job going from town to village. You too My friends are called to visit the people around and to tell them about Me and if they do not go to church, tell them to come and pray in church every Sunday and they will be blessed. I am present at every Holy Mass and all those present are blessed and they receive many great gifts and graces from Me. These graces will help them to live close to Me and to avoid the evil one. On your own you cannot drive away the evil one but with My help you can do so. Come everyone and go to church every Sunday and take active part in Holy Mass. I will give you My peace, My love and My joy. I love you all.”
