John the Baptist’s Testimony to Jesus

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one of whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’ I did not know him, but the reason why I came baptizing with water was that he might be made known to Israel.” John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him. I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the holy Spirit.’ Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. John 1:29-34)

Dear Friends,

Yesterday I was at the Manor in Alberton to celebrate Holy Mass at 1:30 p.m. and a good group participated. In the afternoon I went with five other people by van to the St. Dunstan’s Basilica in Charlottetown for a Pro-Life rally. A large group attended from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. I was asked to pray with the people present and I prayed especially that the Island remain free of abortion and that abortion comes to an end in the rest of Canada and throughout the world. We had talks about the Pro-Life Movement in Prince Edward Island and another spoke of what the Movement is going to do during the year 2012. We had a question period at the end. I got home after 11:00 p.m. last night.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I love you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. John the Baptist was the one who pointed Me out after he baptized Me. He said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.’ These words tell you that I am your Savior and Messiah. He also said these words, ‘Now I have seen and testified that He is the Son of God.’

I have come into this world to atone for your sins and to bring you all into My Kingdom. However, I have a question for you, ‘How can you remain in My Kingdom if you agree to the killing (abortion) of these innocent children every day.’ Every conceived child has the right to live. Please respect life.”

The Baptism of Jesus

The Baptism of Jesus

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. John tried to prevent him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and yet you are coming to me?” Jesus said to him in reply, “Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him. After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened (for him), and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him. And a voice came from the heavens, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (Passage from the Gospel of St. Matthew 3:13-17)

Dear Friends,

We had a bit of rain yesterday but no snow. There is no snow at all here on the Island but we will have some in a few days. It is great to have the temperature above the freezing point for a change.

I remind you again that I will have a Healing Mass at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island on Friday, January 6, and it will start at 7:30 p.m. We will pray the rosary that evening starting at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you all, especially My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in all the countries of the world. To begin My public life in Israel, I went to visit St. John the Baptist at the Jordan River, where he was baptizing the people. He was preparing the people to receive Me. When I came to him to ask him to baptize Me, he objected at first. He knew who I was and he did not understand why I should ask for baptism, as I was the Messiah, the Savior. Without too much difficulty, I persuaded him to agree to baptize Me and he did. After My baptism, John saw the Holy Spirit come on Me and the people heard the voice of God the Father telling them that I was His beloved Son and that He was pleased with Me.

My baptism was very important in the eyes of My Father and for the Holy Spirit, as they both were present with Me. My baptism was a symbol of My death on the cross and a sign of My resurrection. In other words, I gave My “yes” to the Father that I accepted to be the Savior of the world and to give My life for the peoples salvation. No wonder My Father was so pleased with Me. With My baptism I started My public life. I am your Savior, come and follow Me.”

The Story of Creation

The Story of Creation

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth all kinds of living creatures: cattle, creeping things, and wild animals of all kinds.” And so it happened: God made all kinds of wild animals, all kinds of cattle, and all kinds of creeping things of the earth. God saw how good it was. Then God said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the cattle, and over all the wild animals and all the creatures that crawl on the ground.” God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them, saying: “Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all the living things that move on the earth.” God also said: “See, I give you every seed-bearing plant all over the earth and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit on it to be your food; and to all the animals of the land, all the birds of the air, and all the living creatures that crawl on the ground, I give all the green plants for food.” And so it happened. God looked at everything he had made, and he found it very good. Evening came, and morning followed — the sixth day. (Passage from the Book of Genesis 1:24-31)

Dear Friends,

I had a lovely New Year’s Day. I concelebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning at the Parish of the Immaculate Conception, Palmer Road. Many people took part. In the afternoon I went with a friend to the Chinese Restaurant for a lovely meal. The weather was great, just about 1 degree Celsius. There is no snow or ice on the roads; it is just like the Spring season.

(Below you will find the message of God the Father given to Father Melvin. The Father spoke to him these words:)

“I bless you, My son Melvin, and all My sons and daughters spread throughout the world. I am the one who created the world and all that is in it. I created the land and the sea, the rivers and the lakes. I also created the mountains and the valleys. I created the sun and the moon and the stars and all that you see in the world: the trees, the shrubs, the flowers, the fruit trees, all the fish in the water, all the birds in the air and all the wild animals. At the end I created the first man and woman. So, My children, I created your body and every part of it. I created you in my own image and likeness. I created a spirit, a soul, for each one of you at your conception.

Why did I create you? I created you out of love. I created every human being so they could know Me and love Me. I want you all to follow Me and be united with Me forever one day in heaven. After the first man and woman sinned against Me, I promised them a Savior and you know that I have sent My Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be born among you and to be your Savior. He was born of a holy Virgin in the same manner as every human being. He came among you to teach you the way and to offer Himself in sacrifice on the cross for your salvation. He loves you and I love you too.”
