Peter heals Aeneas and Tabitha

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles 9:32-43.
As Peter was passing through every region, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been confined to bed for eight years, for he was paralyzed. Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed.” He got up at once. And all the inhabitants of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord. Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated means Dorcas). She was completely occupied with good deeds and almsgiving. Now during those days she fell sick and died, so after washing her, they laid her out in a room upstairs. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, “Please come to us without delay.” So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs where all the widows came to him weeping and showing him the tunics and cloaks that Dorcas (Tabitha) had made while she was with them. Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to her body and said, “Tabitha, rise up.” She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up. He gave her his hand and raised her up, and when he had called the holy ones and the widows, he presented her alive. This became known all over Joppa, and many came to believe in the Lord. And he stayed a long time in Joppa with Simon, a tanner.

I continue to offer Holy Masses and pray my rosary and other prayers for all those who are inscribed in the Book of Remembrance. Almost every day some write to me to have one or more people entered in the book. Today it is easier to do it via the website: www.ourladyofpei.com  You can pay the money via paypal. Just open this website and explore it and you will see what you have to do to inscribe the names and how you can pay. (See #10 on this page: www.ourladyofpei.com/books-and-cds/ )

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus gave him the following message:)

Open your hearts to Me, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country in the world, and I will fill you with wonderful graces and I will give you My peace. One of the Apostles who had the great power of healing was St. Peter. He healed many people including Aeneas who was paralyzed and in bed for eight years and also Tabitha who had taken sick and died. In a word Aeneas was completely healed and got up and when Peter told Tabitha to rise, she sat up and he helped her to stand up. I am the one who worked through St. Peter to heal these people. Today there are many people who have the gift of healing. They lay their hands on the sick and pray for them and many are healed. I have given you, My brother, this gift and many have been healed through you. This is to show you all that these are genuine and you need to listen to their words as they are My words. It was My joy to heal the sick and it is still My joy today when by the prayers of My chosen ones, I heal them.”

Jesus’ Teaching on Prayer

Jesus’ Teaching on Prayer

Dear Friends,

Please read the words of Jesus from the Gospel of St. Matthew 6:5-15.
“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you. In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This is how you are to pray:

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors;
and do not subject us to the final test,
but deliver us from the evil one.

If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.

(Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. Our Lady spoke to him these words:)

I bless you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in the world today. I am praying for all of you at all times and I wish that you too would pray daily for the world that peace may continue to reign and that the majority of the people will be converted and will follow My Son, Jesus. Conversion means that a person has come to believe in My Son, Jesus, and now prays regularly every day and goes to church every Sunday and takes part in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. You hear, Melvin, every day of people who are converted and start going to church with great faith and love. Some have been away from the church for many years but all of a sudden they received this special grace from My Son and they follow Him. I want all of you to have great faith and to be great examples of people of faith. May the Lord bless you all.”

Teaching about Retaliation

Teaching about Retaliation

Dear Friends,

This passage is a quotation from Jesus and it is found in St. Matthews Gospel 5:2,38-48.
Jesus began to teach them, saying: “. . . You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one to him as well. If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well. Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him for two miles. Give to the one who asks of you, and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning in the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. Every Thursday I celebrate Holy Mass in French. I thank all those who have renewed their subscription to Our Ladys Newsletter, Heavens Voice.”Many too are sending names to write in the Book of Remembrance and I am praying for them every day and I offer two Masses a week for them. It only costs $15.00 to enter one name in the Book of Remembrance.

(Below you will find the message of Our Savior and Lord given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:)

I love you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. I call you all never to fight with your neighbors but when they curse you or insult you, just be silent and pray. You are not to hate your enemies but do as I did, pray for them. Yes, I prayed on the cross for those who beat Me and killed Me. So you are to follow My example.

Because of hatred and pride by one nation against another, war breaks out and many are killed. A war is about to break out in the Middle East because of the hatred between the Jews and the Arabs. If war breaks out, all the countries of the area will be involved. It could end up as a world war. It is known that Iran has nuclear weapons and these could be used against Israel with the result that Israel will retaliate and then other countries will get involved. I call you all, My brothers and sisters, to pray every day that this war be averted. However, with the situation of the world today, peace has been weakened and the evil one is hard at work. There have been so many horrible sins committed throughout the world, especially abortion, same-sex marriage, drug addiction and alcoholism with the result that many people do not pray. The Arm of the Father is ready to fall on the world if they do not stop their horrible sins. Pray daily for peace in the world.”
