The Presentation in the Temple

Dear Friends,

Here is a passage to read from the Gospel of St. Luke 2:22-23a,25-35.
When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, they took him (the child Jesus) up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord” . . . Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Messiah of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying: “Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in sight of all the peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel.” The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

Last evening I had the Healing Mass in the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island and the weather was very nice. I prayed over all the people present and a good number rested in the Spirit. Today I will celebrate Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. in honor of Our Blessed Mother.

(Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. The Blessed Virgin Mary gave him this message.)

“I bless you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who live in every part of the world. I want you all to take My words to heart. You know the words of Simeon when Joseph and I brought the Child Jesus to the Temple to present Him to God the Father. Simeon said to me that a sword would pierce My heart. This happened when I stood at the foot of My Son’s cross. I felt great pain in My heart to see Him suffering so much, nailed to the cross and bleeding all over His body. I knew though that He was offering Himself as a sacrifice to the Father for the salvation of all the people of the world. However, My Son needs your cooperation. So many of His followers do not believe in Him today and they have rejected Him and they live in darkness. It is time that all you believers start praying for all those that are far away from My Son so they can be converted and return to Him. Pray every day for this great intention. I have to tell you that the hand of the Father is about to fall upon the earth because of all the sins that are committed including the horrible sins of abortion, euthanasia and homosexual acts. I warn you that it is time for every person to return to My Son before it is too late. Be sorry, My children, for all your sins and receive the Sacrament of Penance, and you will be blessed by My Son and you will be truly My faithful children. I bless you all.

The Council of Jerusalem

The Council of Jerusalem

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below of the Acts of the Apostles 15:1-12.

Some who had come down from Judea were instructing the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the Mosaic practice, you cannot be saved.” Because there arose no little dissension and debate by Paul and Barnabas with them, it was decided that Paul, Barnabas, and some of the others should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and presbyters about this question. They were sent on their journey by the church, and passed through Phoenicia and Samaria telling of the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brothers. When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church, as well as by the apostles and the presbyters, and they reported what God had done with them. But some from the party of the Pharisees who had become believers stood up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them and direct them to observe the Mosaic law.” The apostles and the presbyters met together to see about this matter. After much debate had taken place, Peter got up and said to them, “My brothers, you are well aware that from early days God made his choice among you that through my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, bore witness by granting them the holy Spirit just as he did us. He made no distinction between us and them, for by faith he purified their hearts. Why, then, are you now putting God to the test by placing on the shoulders of the disciples a yoke that neither our ancestors nor we have been able to bear? On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they.” The whole assembly fell silent, and they listened while Paul and Barnabas described the signs and wonders God had worked among the Gentiles through them.

I will have a Healing Mass this evening at the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island at 7:30 p.m. and we will begin with the rosary at 7:00 p.m.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

I love you and bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. I call you all to remain united with Me every day. I live in your heart if you follow Me. I wish to say a few words about the Council of Jerusalem that took place while the Apostles were still living. The big question that was dealt with was whether the Gentiles should become Jews when they became Christians. Did they have to be circumcised and follow the Law of Moses? This council with the help of the Holy Spirit, and I was there too, made the right decision and all should be happy. The Gentiles do not have to be circumcised and follow the Mosaic Law. They have to follow My teachings and they will be saved. It is the same for you today. Remember that I am your Savior and you need to believe in Me and follow Me every day if you wish to enter heaven and be with Me. I love you all.

Father Melvin

P.S. I will pray for all those who read this message at the healing Mass this evening.

Paul’s Address at Antioch

Dear Friends,

Please read the words of St. Paul from the Acts of the Apostles 13:26-41.
“My brothers, children of the family of Abraham, and those others among you who are God-fearing, to us this word of salvation has been sent. The inhabitants of Jerusalem and their leaders failed to recognize him, and by condemning him they fulfilled the oracles of the prophets that are read Sabbath after Sabbath. For even though they found no grounds for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him put to death, and when they had accomplished all that was written about him, they took him down from the tree and placed him in a tomb. But God raised him from the dead, and for many days he appeared to those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. These are now his witnesses before the people. We ourselves are proclaiming this good news to you that what God promised our ancestors he has brought to fulfillment for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second psalm, ‘You are my son; this day I have begotten you.’ And that he raised him from the dead never to return to corruption he declared in this way, ‘I shall give you the benefits assured to David.’ That is why he also says in another psalm, ‘You will not suffer your holy one to see corruption.’ Now David, after he had served the will of God in his lifetime, fell asleep, was gathered to his ancestors, and did see corruption. But the one whom God raised up did not see corruption. You must know, my brothers, that through him forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you, and in regard to everything from which you could not be justified 11 under the law of Moses, in him every believer is justified. Be careful, then, that what was said in the prophets not come about: ‘Look on, you scoffers, be amazed and disappear. For I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will never believe even if someone tells you.'”

We had a snowstorm yesterday and the prayer meeting at our church was cancelled. The sun should come out this afternoon.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

You are blessed, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, if you believe in Me as your Savior. As St. Paul preached in Antioch, I am the one who was promised for thousands of years and finally I came and was born in Israel. Although the leaders rejected Me and had Me killed, yet I was able to begin My Church and to instruct the Apostles. My death on the cross was the sacrifice by which I redeemed you. I paid the price for your sins and now if you believe and repent, you will be forgiven of all your sins. You will receive the graces you need to follow Me every day and to reject the evil one and all his evil ways. I want you all to be members of My Church founded on the Apostles and to remain in My Church until death. As a member of My Church you are to follow the commandments of God, to pray every day and to go to Holy Mass at least every Sunday and to receive Me in Holy Communion. Love your neighbor and forgive anyone who hurts you. I bless you all.

Father Melvin

P.S. I will have a Healing Mass tomorrow, Friday, February 3, at 7:30 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
