Discussion about the Origin of the Messiah

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Gospel of John 7:40-52.

Some in the crowd who heard these words said, “This is truly the Prophet.” Others said, “This is the Messiah.” But others said, “The Messiah will not come from Galilee, will he? Does not scripture say that the Messiah will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?” So a division occurred in the crowd because of him. Some of them even wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him. So the guards went to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, “Why did you not bring him?” The guards answered, “Never before has anyone spoken like this one.” So the Pharisees answered them, “Have you also been deceived? Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him? But this crowd, which does not know the law, is accursed.” Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to him earlier, said to them, “Does our law condemn a person before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?” They answered and said to him, “You are not from Galilee also, are you? Look and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

We had great weather during the last few days with sunshine the whole day and the temperature about the freezing point and sometimes above. The little snow we have is melting and everybody is looking forward to spring. Many people are writing to me to renew their subscription to Heavens Voice, the Newsletter that comes out four times a year. It costs $12.00 if you live in Canada and $15.00 for those living outside of Canada. Many too are writing to add names to the Book of Remembrance. It costs $15.00 to add one person to the Book and I offer two Masses a week for a whole year for these people and there are rosaries and prayers said for them too.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

I am your Savior and I bless you all, including My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. One of the big questions that the Jews raised about Me is whether I was the Messiah (the Savior) as promised in the Old Testament. The Father had made it known to the Jews and it is written in the Old Testament that He would send the Messiah to save the people of the world. Now at times some of the Jews proclaimed that I was the Messiah but others rejected this for all kinds of silly reasons. Some said I was not the Messiah because I came from Galilee but they did not know that I was born in Bethlehem and that I belonged to King Davids family. If they had inquired, they would have found the truth. The common people had no trouble accepting Me as the Messiah but the leaders and the chief priests with the Pharisees never accepted Me. Although they refused to believe in Me, I did the work I was called to do and, by dying on the cross, I redeemed you all. Now I call you all to believe in Me and to follow all that I have taught you, and you will indeed be in heaven one day. I love you all.

Rivers of Living Water

Rivers of Living Water

Dear Friends,

Below please read the passage from the Gospel of St. John 7:37-39.

On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and exclaimed, “Let anyone who thirsts come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as scripture says: ‘Rivers of living water will flow from within him.'” He said this in reference to the Spirit that those who came to believe in him were to receive. There was, of course, no Spirit yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

If anyone would like to buy my books, you can go to this website:www.ourladyofpei.com. There you will see my books and how you can pay for them. The best way, as it shows, is by PayPal. I thank Jules who lives in the New York State for setting up this website. If there are some who would like to send a donation, you can do it through PayPal too. It is difficult to make ends meet in the winter with the cost of heating oil, the electricity bill, phone bill, the insurance for the Little Shrine and for the van. Any help would be welcomed.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I give you special gifts, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live closely united to Me. I told My Apostles and friends while I was living in the world that I would give them the great gift of the Holy Spirit. However, they had to believe in Me. Everyone receives the Holy Spirit at baptism and all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are released in you when you receive the sacrament of Confirmation. It is absolutely necessary for you to receive the Holy Spirit in order to be able to follow Me. He comes with all His gifts so that you can climb the mountain of God and be united totally with Me. I accomplish everything today through the power of the Holy Spirit who is the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity. He is the expression of love between the Father and I. Ask every day to be renewed in the power of the Holy Spirit. I bless you all.”

Is He the Messiah?

Is He the Messiah?

Dear Friends,

Below you will find the passage to read from the Gospel of St. John 7:25-34.

So some of the inhabitants of Jerusalem said, “Is he not the one they are trying to kill? And look, he is speaking openly and they say nothing to him. Could the authorities have realized that he is the Messiah? But we know where he is from. When the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.” So Jesus cried out in the temple area as he was teaching and said, “You know me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on my own, but the one who sent me, whom you do not know, is true. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.” So they tried to arrest him, but no one laid a hand upon him, because his hour had not yet come. But many of the crowd began to believe in him, and said, “When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man has done?” The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring about him to this effect, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent guards to arrest him. So Jesus said, “I will be with you only a little while longer, and then I will go to the one who sent me. You will look for me but not find me, and where I am you cannot come.”

I made a mistake with the dates for the Poland-Medjugorje pilgrimage in April. It is not April 26 to May 13 but April 10 to April 27. I am sorry for the mistake. I will give a retreat at the Trappist Monastery in Rogersville, N.B., starting on Friday evening on March 16 and it will end on March 18 at noon. Everyone is welcome.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

My blessing to you, My brother Melvin and to all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. Some are reading my messages in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, Central America and of course in North America. I am happy that many are taking to heart my words and the words of My Holy Mother, the Mother of Life. You know if you believe in Me, that I am truly the Messiah, the Savior, you are indeed My followers. I was sent by My Heavenly Father to take on human nature and to come and live with you in the world. I thank My Holy Mother for giving birth to Me. I grew up like every other child and I was cared for by My Mother and by My foster father, Joseph. I came to teach you the truth and to establish My Church. The leaders of the Jewish people refused to believe in Me even though I performed many great miracles in their midst. I brought Lazarus back to life after he had been buried for some days. I healed lepers and blind people and also the dumb and those who could not walk. I chased away many evil spirits with just a word. I did all this in My name as I am the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. I call you all to renew your faith in Me and to prepare yourselves during the season of Lent to celebrate the great Feast of Easter. Repent of all your sins and ask for the grace to avoid sin in the future. I love you all.””
