Paul’s Testimony before King Agrippa

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles (26:1b,12-23):

So Paul stretched out his hand and began his defense. . . . “On one such occasion I was traveling to Damascus with the authorization and commission of the chief priests. At midday, along the way, O king, I saw a light from the sky, brighter than the sun, shining around me and my traveling companions. We all fell to the ground and I heard a voice saying to me in Hebrew, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goad.’ And I said, ‘Who are you, sir?’ And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. Get up now, and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness of what you have seen of me and what you will be shown. I shall deliver you from this people and from the Gentiles to whom I send you, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may obtain forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been consecrated by faith in me.’ “And so, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. On the contrary, first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem and throughout the whole country of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached the need to repent and turn to God, and to do works giving evidence of repentance. That is why the Jews seized me (when I was) in the temple and tried to kill me. But I have enjoyed God’s help to this very day, and so I stand here testifying to small and great alike, saying nothing different from what the prophets and Moses foretold, that the Messiah must suffer and that, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

Tomorrow evening I will have the Healing Mass in the Little Shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. I will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Holy Mass at 7:30 p.m.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“I call you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living all over the world, to read the words of St. Paul as he relates what happened when I appeared to him. He was knocked to the ground together with the others with him. I spoke to him these words, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” I identify Myself with every person who believes in Me. So if someone persecutes them, then that person is persecuting Me. I spoke to St. Paul very clearly and at the end he believed in Me as the Messiah of the world. I appointed him to witness of what he had seen to the Gentiles. He agreed and he went throughout many countries as an Apostle to the Gentiles.

You, too, My friends, are appointed to be My witnesses wherever you live and never to be afraid to witness about your faith in Me. Tell the people who I am and what I expect of them. As My followers, they will receive the sacraments, go to church regularly, and receive Me in Holy Communion often. You will avoid sin and remain close to Me. I bless you all.”

Paul appeals to Caesar

Paul appeals to Caesar

Dear Friends,

Please read below the passage from the Acts of the Apostles (25:1-12):

Three days after his arrival in the province, Festus went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem where the chief priests and Jewish leaders presented him their formal charges against Paul. They asked him as a favor to have him sent to Jerusalem, for they were plotting to kill him along the way. Festus replied that Paul was being held in custody in Caesarea and that he himself would be returning there shortly. He said, “Let your authorities come down with me, and if this man has done something improper, let them accuse him.” After spending no more than eight or ten days with them, he went down to Caesarea, and on the following day took his seat on the tribunal and ordered that Paul be brought in. When he appeared, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem surrounded him and brought many serious charges against him, which they were unable to prove. In defending himself Paul said, “I have committed no crime either against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar.” Then Festus, wishing to ingratiate himself with the Jews, said to Paul in reply, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and there stand trial before me on these charges?” Paul answered, “I am standing before the tribunal of Caesar; this is where I should be tried. I have committed no crime against the Jews, as you very well know. If I have committed a crime or done anything deserving death, I do not seek to escape the death penalty; but if there is no substance to the charges they are bringing against me, then no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar.” Then Festus, after conferring with his council, replied, “You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go.”

I thank all those who have written to me and sent money to have their loved ones inscribed in the Book of Remembrance. People write to me from Argentina, France, Belgium, the USA, Canada and other countries. I pray for them every day and I offer two Masses a week for a whole year for all those in the Book of Remembrance.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words.)

“Open your hearts and receive My graces, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in all the countries of the world. I am always there to help you if you come to Me and ask for what you want. St. Paul was a great friend of mine who followed Me every day and who did My will at every moment. He wrote one day that it was no longer he who lived but I, Jesus, who lived in him. Indeed I wish to live in your hearts, all of you. If the world rejects you, do not be afraid, because you are very dear to Me, your Lord and Savior. Live every day as if it was your last day on earth so when the time comes for you to depart from the world, I will be there to bring you with Me to heaven. Do not let yourself be taken by the lures of the world because most of these are evil and come from the devil. Be men and women who love their heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit and I, the Son of God, and love your neighbor. I bless you all.”

St. Paul and Felix

Dear Friends,

Please read the passage below from the Acts of the Apostles (24:22-27):

Then Felix, who was accurately informed about the Way, postponed the trial, saying, “When Lysias the commander comes down, I shall decide your case.” He gave orders to the centurion that he should be kept in custody but have some liberty, and that he should not prevent any of his friends from caring for his needs. Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He had Paul summoned and listened to him speak about faith in Christ Jesus. But as he spoke about righteousness and self-restraint and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “You may go for now; when I find an opportunity I shall summon you again.” At the same time he hoped that a bribe would be offered him by Paul, and so he sent for him very often and conversed with him. Two years passed and Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. Wishing to ingratiate himself with the Jews, Felix left Paul in prison.

I will have a Healing Mass on Friday this week, March 30. On the First Friday of April, it will be impossible as it is Good Friday. So on March 30, we will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by Holy Mass at 7:30 p.m. Then I will pray with each person present.

(Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words).

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. My holy Apostle St. Paul spent two years in prison but he had done nothing wrong. He suffered much at the hands of the Romans. Yet he was always united to Me offering himself totally for the conversion of all the people. He imitated Me by his love for the people and by his great desire to do My will.

All of you who believe in Me and follow Me will have to suffer at times. Many suffer various sicknesses at times, while others are judged falsely by family and neighbor. Still others feel alone as no one comes to visit them or help them in their senior years. Remember, My friends, that I am always there close to you, so pray often and read the Bible. I love you all.”
